I just wish Neeher’s Mods were added into Vanilla Fallout 4 automatically, because they fit so well into the game. They all feel official.

Tried Expressive Expressions - don't like it. Looks more weird and unnatural than vanilla in my opinion.
Feels like it COULD be great, but only if you actually went in and manually tweaked how various expressions looked on each non-generic NPC. While such an overhaul would be amazing, it's definitely too much work for most folks, if it's even possible to begin with.
Betcha if you disable the dialogue camera it looks pretty decent
@@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth It's known that facial expressions are hard to recreate in animation and games. There just too many little muscles in the face that are responsible for movement. Fallout does an awful job at recreating those, but this mod doesn't seem to change those animations in a big way. It just looks like they were made stronger - kinda looks forced.
what they need is shading that changes with the animation. like all the little wrinkles that form when you smile or frown

The American military is so well know for funding wacky one-off weapon experiments, it makes adding "lore-friendly" equipment into Fallout a breeze.
Why didn't you see this new crazy gun/armour in any of the other games? Probably for the same reason you don't see exploding bats or gun-gloves. The military tired it, it was too expensive/stupid, so they stuck it in a box somewhere and tried something different. Makes you wonder what wild prototypes the modern military has collecting dust in some classified warehouse...
A good amount I'll have to check out. My main issue with the HD pack is that there's been a good amount of "Final Versions" released already and if there's only some changes that's another 60GB download. It's a fantastic mod but I'm not really fond of redownloading it each time a "Final Version" iteration is released. So, I stick to an older version and wait until 3-4 iterations come out before I download it again.
I've been a lover of modpacks since I tried to play Ultimate Skyrim all the way back when. Things are so much simpler now and a lot of good options to choose from, just not TOO many designed for lower spec machines.
Video was genuinely helpful. Im ngl feels like most of your videos do not feel productive at all and the few videos that inform are why I stay subscribed.
The animations that play for the helmet and shotgun remind me of Metro Exodus - very expressive, characteristic animations that are satisfying to watch, and make a moment feel special
Very nice mods, but what was the one used for the revolver spinning when drawn? It looks like it's based on Dishonored, but I can't find that on my own. Help?
@JuiceHead Hey, did you see in the posts for Weapon Drop Stop that the problem it solves is already solved in the game? Or did you find any reason why the mod would be needed?

Is their a mod you'd reccomend thats helps the over feel of the game and look. A Quality of life/update with some good added lore friendly weapons all in one?
I love all the new mods coming to Fo4. What worries me is the Next Gen update coming next year. Now I'm all for a bug fixes and optimization and graphics improvements but I'm not excited for the big break of mods

Maybe it's still possible to play on the older version of FO4 for the old mods that aren't updated. Something like how people are still playing comparatively ancient versions of Minecraft for the big modpacks and such.

Wait, there was a Nexus mod purge? Could someone explain that to me? I only just got into the modding scene a few months ago.
Nexus mandated that any mods uploaded would be permanently available and mod authors would have no ability to delete the mods they upload or otherwise make them unavailable. So they gave a deadline for when this would go into effect, and some mod authors decided to pull their mods off Nexus as a result.

Nexus also decided they could assemble mods into collections (which anonymises the authors somewhat and also eliminates the feedback and community aspects of individual mod pages) and a lot of authors were not on board with that. Many mods got yanked in protest.

Mod packs have been around for a while now; all that's really changed is that Nexus is trying to get people to use Vortex to download them instead of using Mod Organizer 2 or Wabbjack.

@@Bdizzle-tm6bt It certainly is; I figured out how to use it pretty quickly when I started using it after giving Vortex a try about three years ago and not understanding how to get it (Vortex) to consistently not end up with loading loops.

@juicehead I’m a console player and I have been trying to build the perfect load order for my play through but I have no idea how to put them in order so they don’t conflict or break anything as I really have never used mods otherwise, I’m a huge fan of your content and have been for awhile but I really need help
It's hard to help without knowing your load order and specific mods inside of the order; but generally you want the biggest packs first. Anything that manipulates dialogue, graphics, or weapons first as well. The issue with console load orders is that one single file can conflict between mods and it'll brick the entire game. Stuff like Vortex, loot, and Wrye have built-in checks for this on PC; so you can just choose to change which loads in at first. So keep that in mind, statistically you just won't be able to run as many mods as PC players will, because you cannot accurately manage the mods. Put the unofficial patch first always; though. Drop the basic retweaks and balances at the bottom.

Weapon drop stop is not on Xbox yet if anyone knows how to port it to Xbox… I’d really appreciate it as I mostly just play the settlement defense for hours and I need everything I can get to reduce lag and eventual crashing that does happen without failure of playing it for too long. I do have the mister salvage and tidy bots that pickup drops around the settlement they help a lot when it does start crashing, you just load up and leave the settlement for a little bit and they’ll pickup any weapons or anything that drop so you can have a clean settlement to do the defense with.. it’s definitely a bit extra for most people but if you enjoy the defense creation club thing then these mods are must have
first mod you mention just get the fallout historical weapon collection has all the fallout series weapons.

Its the Peacekeeper mod by zestoflemon. The recreated Battlefield 1 animations are exquisite.
Mod request. To anyone anywhere. True terminator inspired enemies. Synths are cool but fragile. Coursers are cooler but do not take visible damage to their bodies. Assaultrons have a tough skeleton and do take damage but no ability to pose as a human although stealth field is nice. Liberty prime has the right look for the skeletal hands and early construction shows the skeletal foot construction complete with toes. I am asking not for a replacement but a new threat. T-100 - T-800. Looking like gen two courser but that take damage similar to both robots and gen 1 synths. Hint assaultrons will continue to come for you even if the legs are gone and even attempt to self terminate just st to kill you.
Does anyone know of a mod that lets you put on any armor/no armor, while keeping stats from armor? Like in Terraria with vanity slots, perhaps? You'd think this type of mod would be a no brainer but I don't see it. I'm sick of seeing my ugly stat maxxed armor in cutscenes
Look for mods that let you hide your armour (like Hidden Armors). I wear hidden combat armour so I only see the outfit. I have similar hidden armour on my companion.

Probably not buddy....the closest thing we have is "A Real Wasteland" that does similar things. I've tried it, but it crashes my game...for me, it's a LO issue somewhere
It bothers me how in every power armor when you run the left shoulder looks weird.
The game needs to feel like classic Fallout, it will feel bad if the gunplay is too modern like akimbo weapons

@@No-Basic Nah, its some MW ar15/m4/mk18. RU556 is a bit less detailed and less animated. Not saying the mod is bad, but weapons from modern warfare are just way too detailed and animated

Haha...I stay away from Preston, haven't done minutemen in almost two years now (Jan or Feb 2021). For me the most annoying is Edward Deegan, gives the Cabot questline

There is one on the ps4 to limit the minuteman quests to one at a time so you only get the story quests
I've been waiting seven years for a mod that lets you 'nest' your clothing/armor, so you don't have to remove and equip each item one at a time.

There really isn't many new console mods though? I've checked numerous times and the featured mods change but that's it. It's just really hard to cover the "top 10 console mods" when the best of the PC mods have already been ported over and covered. Can't really showcase new weapons, because they can't use outside assets. Can't really showcase new areas because of the same; console has a few areas that are nice, but most are just like Corporate Raiders and just reuse parts of the map.
Like; doing a top 10 console mod setup would be showcasing 5 mods we all already know about and 5 that are just watered down versions of PC mods.
Sorry; not trying to be rude or anything.. I just feel like console mods and most of the in-game mod launcher as a whole are just redundant comparative to the entire new game levels of content in stuff like Fallout London, or Project Mojave (I think that's its name)
