You know, I've watched the original music video at least thirty times in the past ten years, and I've watched this one at least three times this week, but somehow, today is the first time I've realized that "I think I understand you, but I don't" is also meant to refer to the optical illusions and not just the lyrics.
This video is amazing if I didn’t know better I would of thought this video was made by the band as an alternate video for song. You should be really proud of this.

@@theEWDSDS There are several points where the camera isn't quite in the right position in time/isn't EXACTLY right to force the perspective or the people are like half an inch behind their marks, like the whole bit with the mirrors toward the end. Small flaws that could've been corrected with enough shots, but OK Go had to stop at some point and say "good enough." This didn't have those.
The attention to detail here is just astounding. Well done!

This might be a silly question but would you ever consider animating their get over it video? I feel like it would look really cool in lego
I did consider their other videos before deciding on WOTW - lego characters in the get over it style would look pretty awesome, although I probably wouldn’t do a full video. WOTW felt like a good fit coz the tricks were all visual and physically built out - something lego is very good at

Holy crap. Shot for shot! I love this so much as a stylish tribute. But also, most of the illusions are much cleaner in this version, so while it doesn’t have the impressive real-time factor, we can really appreciate the ideal look that they were going for. Bravo! The effort here is huge, and this deserves so much more attention than it has received.
This is an insane amount of work for essentially no recognition. I hope your talents are being rewards somewhere, you deserve it.

This is fantastic! The only thing I would have changed is including all the stage crew coming out at the end.
If you look closely at 2:27, you can see that the studs on the lego bricks actually say 'OKGO'. What an amazing little detail!

Overall a great video! The main mistake I noticed is giving Tim the other half of his beard back. The original starts with the full beard, then goes to half for the head mirror illusion. From there, he keeps the half shave for the rest of the video, whereas you switch back to full beard for the mirror walk at 3:00.

I came back specifically to watch this again. I've seen the real OK GO video so many times that I am massively blown away by how accurate this video is, only leaving out the people running out at the end, because that would have been crazy difficult.
