I think I'm on my way to get to this level of human development, I went through abuse, rejection etc, I then became recluse and almost stoic as a subconscious coping mechanism. Yup! 100%. I woke up because of the people. I finally said no, I finally said enough. The treatment by the people and the org is awful. Looking back, I sinned to get out. I wouldn’t admit that to myself at the time, but I was looking for a way out.
You are so right! Take it slow and easy, there is so much to un pack and re-build your self to get back on the right track. Pray, pray ,pray for Holy Spirt to guide in all you do. This came at the perfect time for the encouragement for me to strive on in this messed up world.

I’m an INFP and find it difficult to trust others as well. I see patterns in people and my intuition is so strong, it’s scary. No wonder I was miserable being a witness - surrounded by so many people who lack self-awareness and are self-righteous.

Beimg an empath is a gift but can be super scary. We sense and see others and feel so much. It can be very draining at times. We are also envied a lot which ostracises us too. Its been a very hard life. Protecting ourselves and surrounding ourselves with loving upbuilding, nourishing caring authentic people is key. I pray to always keep the narcs away from me too as they hate our light and the damage they do can make us ill. Thankyou beautiful. ❤
I love this topic very much! ❤ I can definitely relate from the experience I had in the org from narcissists from elders to elders wives, pioneers, and rank & file JWs. They can be clever and target you to be your close friend but sadly there is alot of backbitting. Alot of insecurities for sure and manipulative. Must use discernment and know something is not right to not have full trust in them. It was uncomfortable being there and just got a vibe that several wanted me to be miserable just like them. I am a happy 😊 person and they just didn't like that! It was just too much, God and Jesus are lovable & the environment (cong) show lack of love and affection and no warmth feeling so it was time to go! 👍👐

Im very interested in the subject of empaths. I used to think I was just intuitive, but now realize Im also an empath. It is a bit lonely. I run from people who are unkind. Not out of fear, but disgust. Fortunately, animals & nature are my friends.
Thank you. There are exceptions to the rule, I left this Org many years ago. There is one person older that myself who is a JW that has never abandoned me. She is a dear friend. I never criticize her for her heart felt beliefs. I have made it clear that my conscience won't let me go back, including the reasons. She is currently pioneering, but we still keep in touch. That is a true over many years friend. It can happen.
Secrets of The Resilient Empath is an excellent book by Jennifer Lauren Parker. I love it so much I bought copies for friends in the hope it will help them recover too

I have to remind myself that we are all in the progress of recovery. But I know what you mean about some of these groups. There are some excellent conversations that take place, but those who organize it couple were really offensive and ridiculing, calling people, conspiracy, theorists, and anti-VAX, etc. How arrogant and disrespectful that’s how most of us woke up when they were trying to push something so lethal and unproven. I don’t know a single person who said no that regrets it but I know many who said yes under pressure and really regret it. No this couple is in Canada and they have limited access to the data up there. It’s very very Soviet union type censorship up there, but it was the attitude that really shocked me. I felt like I was back in a kingdom hall. And in our area, people were demanding to know private information and when you didn’t engage in those conversations with them, not saying anything and saying, we don’t talk about private health matters you were immediately labeled to conspiracy, theorist, and anti-VAX or and ridiculed on zoom every single meeting every single week for years.
There's a normal and moderate level of narssisim according to some phycologists that you could define also as self love, but it sort of occurred to me that if anyone has defined themselves as not just empathetic but SUPER empathetic then maybe they have spent just a bit too much time navel gazing, or have I missed something? Oh my, sorry I don't mean to offend. But what utter nonsense 🙄 Jesus encouraged his true followers to be as innocent as doves and as cautious as a serpent. He also pointed out that we are to love others as we love ourselves. Therein lies the basic understanding of the super empath. I don't think intuition/ gut feeling has anything to do with narcissism. I did explain in my video that the concept of the super empath stems from destroying a narcissist is more of a metaphorical or psychological concept often discussed in self-help and relationship advice contexts. Everyone is personality disordered to a point. But the difference is a person having the intelligentsia to recognise when maladaptive behaviours encroach on the normal functioning of a person and taking corrective measures to eliminate harmful traits. Identifying as being super empath is not narcissistic anymore than someone Identifying as INFJ. By the way, narcissists will never admit they are narcissist
