Keep up the awesome work Magnus!!! I don't want to speak for everyone, but even if you can't come up with something awesome and unique to do in your vlog, we'd still love to watch! Solo-filming can be a challenge but even stuff like your move or just running errands could be a video. I feel like a lot of us watch for your personality as well as the climbing.
Dude. The editing style is on point in this episode. LOVE the zoom in effect to the grade info. The rewind and continue effect at 3:08 was very slick and polished. Loved it
Just FYI for all you guys, I climb at this gym and for us regular mortals (like V5/V5+ max), even the easiest of these problems are silly hard. Like I only see a handful of people even try them, much less send them effortlessly
Oh right. I just tend to use those to translate. Everyone here seems to know the V grade conversion anyway, but not everyone over there knows the font conversion
You've done what I formerly considered impossible: You made a gym climbing video compelling. The filming, voiceover, and music were spot on. Great work!
Don't sweat it about the content. You are one of the best climbers in the world. Do what motivates you to vlog. Personally I really enjoy you just crushing climbs in the gym, workout routine, tips and tricks you've accrued over the years of climbing. If you in the next intro say something like: "So I am just gonna do indoor bouldering for the next couple months or year..." that is awesome!! We just wanna watch you climb some stuff and your thoughts and insights in to the climbing world.
hey magnus, the detailed commentary is phenomenal. the camera work was amazing too. i love the quirky zoom-in effect, and the "rewind" effect on #8 when you fell off was really cool too. i'm a newer climber (4 mos.) and your videos like this really help me understand the thought process. i hear you on the music. it was a bit slow in this vid but it worked fine. i just wanted to say i've been watching your vids every week since i started climbing and they've been inspirational to me, seriously. so, thank you.
Thank you, for all the great videos! I know I wrote it before, but in my opinion your way of doing the voice over (for climbing) is the best I have seen so far. Also in all the videos from spain.
hey mate love your blog. just an idea but... if you could start doing little interview climbing videos on the climbers from your local gym in your show it would be great. Even if they are a beginner at your gym would be interesting to see them try some climbs and maybe you giving some basic coaching or support. I really liked watching your brother because he was more at my level and it felt more obtainable to me. Thanks again for all the effort and great content.
Another top vid. As relatively new climbers, the speed and precision that you go at problems with is something that’s great to watch. Definitely something to work on,
Awesome video!! Really inspiring me to work harder and crush more than ever before. You're by far my favourite climbing blogger, keep up the great work!
I did like this video a lot! I'm sure that I am not the only one who thinks it would be cool if you had this serie with a video once a month when they put up new boulders and you take us trough the hardest one. Can't wait to get back to Oslo and climb there next week!
This like listening to a master pianist play, thinking “that’s not so bad,” and then trying to play it oneself and coming to the realization that you’re like a toddler compared to the person you were watching
Love this video, flows so well and super fun to watch. It all seems so easy when you do it. I'd love to watch you take some more regular weekend warriors and give them a workout regimen that I could use for ideas.
I really enjoyed this Vlog. I'm very happy that you are uploading Vlogs. I like the boulders, the way you did them and the Voiceover mode. I'd love to come to Norway but it's too far away from Austria. I also like the cutting on this Video and I'm really hoping that you can motivate Olav. Now I'm waiting for the next Vlog
Hi Magnus, rad video man. My girlfriend and I saw you in the breakfast line in a casino in Vegas this summer and shouted "Maaaagnussss!" - Yeh that was us. Keep making good content.
Love when you do Future Magnus! Your videos are great when you do them on your own. They're wonderful when you have help too, but either way I hope you keep making them. You make me want to climb better and you always make me laugh, thank you!
Love your videos Magnus, would love more training videos. Even the same things again aren't boring for me and I assume lots of your other subscribers. Would be especially interested in finger strength training tips and ideologies.
Great stuff !! If you are interested: i would like to see more of your fails, and then afterwards say what you changed to make it work ? Those bits are very interesting when you talk about them. Keep it up Magnus !!
Sending a challenging boulder for me gets my heart beating so much faster compared to climbing a tough route on the auto bely. V3 is tough for me (I've only been climbing for around 2.5 months) vs. 5.10+ which is fun, but seems far easier than a V3 bolder problem.
Been wanting to visit the gym ever since you started vlogging. Today I did a trip there from Sweden. Awesome place but didn't recognise your video until I was back home. Could've used the beta 😊 Didn't see you (or Erik) filming today but hope you keep it up.
Keep it up man, you rock. And it is a pleasure to watch your videos. Good times will come. I am just saying because you looked a bit down in the Intro. If I could wish for something on the channel.... I would love some tutorials, tricks or basics where you teach us mere mortals how to step up our game.... Would be awesome....!
Would you be able to do a vlog on antagonist workouts and shoulder health?? I'm fascinated by how much strength and power training you're able to do without (seemingly) getting injured! If so, it would be very informative and helpful for those of us trying to become a crusher like yourself! Cheers :)
Hey I know you asked Magnus but I just resolved my long lasting shoulder problems with a few simple exercises: Nr. 1) ruclips.net/video/jTJYTtpMLXc/видео.html Nr. 2) theclimbingdoctor.com/portfolio-items/shoulder-impingement-2/ Absolutely amazing exercises which made my shoulder grow really strong super fast. Can recommend (especially the second one).
You should come to Bergen and make a video of how you crush the local hard ones at Bryggeriet. Very interested in seeing how that would turn out! Why not the easier ones as well. :D
This guy proves dont judge a book by the cover, he is INSANELY STRONG like wow he is defenitly the best climber of our generation , you deserve your roses and your props
hey MM, I'm sure adding music would increase production value and attract more viewers, but there's got to be viewers like me out there who couldn't care less about the music (or even if there's no music). The climbing itself is cool enough!
Keep up the awesome work Magnus!!! I don't want to speak for everyone, but even if you can't come up with something awesome and unique to do in your vlog, we'd still love to watch! TheFasting that’s cool to hear
TheFasting if you’re from Norway then why are you using V grades when everything over there uses the Bleau grades ?
Oh right. I just tend to use those to translate. Everyone here seems to know the V grade conversion anyway, but not everyone over there knows the font conversion
Its been 2 months since I started and I succeed 2 V6.
Over V8 it becomes really hardcore. But v7 and less its possible, if you are strong and gave Technics
"and back to you, future magnus.." I loved that one :))
You are the best
breaking the fifth wall, when the fourth wall narration is not enough
Great with the voiceover, nice cut and impresive your climbing style!
Loved the editing on this one, cool effects and music! Gj Magnus! :)
You've done what I formerly considered impossible: You made a gym climbing video compelling. The filming, voiceover, and music were spot on. Great work!
'its surprisingly hard' but continues to crush the hell out of it. Hard for him must be impossible for us mere mortals
Don't sweat it about the content. You are one of the best climbers in the world. Do what motivates you to vlog. Personally I really enjoy you just crushing climbs in the gym, workout routine, tips and tricks you've accrued over the years of climbing.

thank god you are posting again magnus. You are by far my favourite climbing vloger! very inspiring
hey magnus, the detailed commentary is phenomenal. the camera work was amazing too. i love the quirky zoom-in effect, and the "rewind" effect on #8 when you fell off was really cool too. i'm a newer climber (4 mos.) and your videos like this really help me understand the thought process. i hear you on the music. it was a bit slow in this vid but it worked fine. i just wanted to say i've been watching your vids every week since i started climbing and they've been inspirational to me, seriously. so, thank you.
Yo Magnus, the editing on this video is the direction you should be taking this channel. Informative not over done. Much respect!
The style of editing is classic Magnus, I really like the pacing of the editing and climbing. Thanks!
Thank you, for all the great videos!
I know I wrote it before, but in my opinion your way of doing the voice over (for climbing) is the best I have seen so far.

Loved the format of this video- loved hearing the beta as you did the problems so insightful
I love the analytical break downs of the boulders!! Keep up the good work!
Great editing in this video. You've really improved :D. I really enjoy these 'simple' videos; nothing special but just a great showcase of climbing!
Holy! Magnus the editing on this video is top notch. Really great stuff.
Really enjoyed how you walked threw your moves , very peaceful and with good attention could definitely learn something
Favorite format video so far of the many I’ve seen since following around vlog 50. Really get a lot out of the technical breakdown with voice over.
I love the format of these videos. I am still new to climbing, and videos like this allow me to see more technique.
seriously impressed with the video format and editing. Oh yeah also the psycho strong bouldering!
Nice to see bouldering videos again! greetings from Argentina

Awesome video!! Really inspiring me to work harder and crush more than ever before. You're by far my favourite climbing blogger, keep up the great work!
Best climbing chanel on youtube by far.

really good balance of the volume of the music and the voiceover!
This like listening to a master pianist play, thinking “that’s not so bad,” and then trying to play it oneself and coming to the realization that you’re like a toddler compared to the person you were watching
Great video! Don’t worry at all about your uploading schedule, it’s all good hombre
Quite enjoyed that voice over! Nice work Magnus :)
Nice Video, Magnus!
It must be really hard to solo vlog! Keep up the good work!
Love this video, flows so well and super fun to watch. It all seems so easy when you do it. I'd love to watch you take some more regular weekend warriors and give them a workout regimen that I could use for ideas.
Sick editing! Keep up the good work, alone or with people, your videos are always great 👌
I really enjoyed this Vlog.

I also like the cutting on this Video and I'm really hoping that you can motivate Olav.

Would love if you made this a regular series, talking about the beta in detail. Great vid
great editing and bouldering (you beast!!) What about an episode about problem setting? It would be nice to have a pick on the setters mind.
Hi Magnus, rad video man. My girlfriend and I saw you in the breakfast line in a casino in Vegas this summer and shouted "Maaaagnussss!" - Yeh that was us. Keep making good content.
Really like the edit today! With the different angles and stuff
loved the intro and music, great editing skills!
Awesome editing Magnus
Great video! Love your editing and voiceover move is always awesome.
very high quality video man!! like... the intro is almost like a movie :)
Love when you do Future Magnus! Your videos are great when you do them on your own. They're wonderful when you have help too, but either way I hope you keep making them. You make me want to climb better and you always make me laugh, thank you!
Unique style of music in bolder vlog field! I felt like you were were sad while edition this video, some sorrow visiting you.
Thanks man
Love your voiceover shots 😃
Super informative, great editing. This is one of my favorite video of yours; keep up the great work!
Love your videos Magnus, would love more training videos. Even the same things again aren't boring for me and I assume lots of your other subscribers. Would be especially interested in finger strength training tips and ideologies.

This video was awesome! Great editing, informative, cool routes.
Loved the music and format of this video.
As always, awesome to watch.

Thing is i dont think he failed much...
Just want to say thanks for the awesome vlog!
Excelent video magnus!!! I love your channel!!
So strong man. Sick video, hopefully Olav comes back soon
Thanks for all your videos - they alwas inspire me
That zoom in effect is awesome
Beautiful boulders over there and also nice edit!
holy crap, your editing and commentary are incredible

Technically the individual moves should be "easier" on a longer route of an equivalent grade because of the endurance part, maybe thats part of it
Most folks have a hard time pushing themselves when they are by themselves. So it is very rad to see to those low percentage moves go down
Been wanting to visit the gym ever since you started vlogging. Today I did a trip there from Sweden. Awesome place but didn't recognise your video until I was back home. Could've used the beta 😊
Didn't see you (or Erik) filming today but hope you keep it up.
All of these are so dynamic
Good vlog. Excellent filming and editing.
Nice one. and as usual, you make boulders look easy. Any tips on holding those bad slopers?
Keep it up man, you rock. And it is a pleasure to watch your videos. Good times will come. I am just saying because you looked a bit down in the Intro. Such good editing!
Cool filming, good music
3:07 perfect edit
Great video Magnus! But hey, where is that famous smile and "Magnus mood"!? Looking forward to see you totally happy again. Cheers
This gym seems to grade more accurate than the majority of the ones that you see online and in real life.
This video was amazing.
Missing your vlogs dude!!! Hope all is well!!
This guy proves dont judge a book by the cover, he is INSANELY STRONG like wow he is defenitly the best climber of our generation , you deserve your roses and your props
This makes me wanna go to my gym and boulder now :)
fuck yeah Magnus! The voice over works so well.. My favorite climber in the world, keep on being a beast!
awesome style with the voiceover, would be nice to have more replays or slomo shots to better follow your words and movements :)
Nice one!
hey MM, I'm sure adding music would increase production value and attract more viewers, but there's got to be viewers like me out there who couldn't care less about the music (or even if there's no music). The climbing itself is cool enough!
Looking forward to another Vlog Magnus. Long time ago
some really nice editing on this one
And Magnus-from-the-past talking to future-Magnus is hilarious
please do a video on how you edit, i love your editing and i’m starting my own channel
Watching old magnus videos to pass this quarantine time
