You chose a topic today that was exceptionally useful for me because a lot of times I wasn't sure what would be a noticeable difference between that and which in a sentence and which I should use. The commas also confused me, I had no idea when they are needed. This clauses makes more sense to me.

Hi Emma, Love your videos. I am always confused in relative clauses with multiple nouns.
Which noun is being described by the relative clause in the following sentences?
    1. I met Rebecca in town yesterday, which was a nice surprise.
    2. Yesterday, I met Rebecca in town, which was a nice surprise.
    3. Yesterday, I met Rebecca in town, which was so congested.
    4. Yesterday, I met Rebecca, who is my childhood friend, in town.
    5. Yesterday, I met Rebecca in town, who is my childhood friend.
    6. I had an uncle in the city, who I inherited a bit of money from.
    7. I had an uncle in the city, which is famous for its restaurants.

Hi Emma, great lesson as always but two points.
1- in quiz #9, the jacket may not be the only jacket. So "a" can also be possible. Unless everyone knows about which jacket I am talking about.
2- I also read on Cambridge dictionary online that "which" and "that" both are used for defining clauses.
