The 1880 also lacks cruise control. So, the 2380 over the 1880 gives 21.6 hp vs 16.6 hp (30% increase), better seat, armrests on the seat, tilt steering, cruise control, a 60" mower deck (vs 54"), optional drive-over deck, and optional R14 radial. 1880 with 54" deck, R3 turf, and loader valve is $14,700 and the 2380 with 60" deck, R3 turf, and loader valve is $17,800 (add $600 for the driver over deck; add $150 for the R14). So, that's about $3,000 (20%) more for the 2380. Ironically, that's about the same delta as going from a GR2120 to a BX1880.

I love my 2680! Small but such a beast! I always look for excuses to use it!

The 1880 should have a bigger motor, for that price and the capabilities of the tractor you should be able to use it as it was intended, it should not be underpowered in the rear p.t.o., it's a subcompact tractor, give it the power to handle implements, that's an expensive tractor just to cut grass.

How would you compare the BX1880 to the GR2120 just for mowing grass, ignoring cost and the fact that the BX can attach implements like a front loader? Does it have the same near-zero-turn ability? Same ability to mow thick wet grass? Uphill and downhill? Thanks for the videos!

Both solid machines to cut the grass, it more comes down to if you want a loader/ rear PTO or not when comparing the 2 units. The GR is better on hills and a much shorter turning radius

Does the front weight bracket on the 2680 interfere with the k connect option for the front snow blower?

If you add the front weights it will interfere with the K-Connect, the regular grill guard does not hopefully that helps

The bracket doesn't interfere as a matter of fact it becomes part of the K-Connect system. Can't use weights on it with the K-Connect system installed, but once you remove the blower and PTO adapter assembly and mount you can then install weights on it as you would normally.

I bought the 2020 BX 1880 brand new and it only has 100 hours on it. I was offered a 5 foot rear blade from a friend at a great price but can the little 1880 pull it okay. I mostly want it for snow here in Northern Michigan to just do a great clean up after plowing with the FEL.

Shouldnt have an issue with a 60" rear blade on the BX1880 for doing snow

The cost difference I see at my (maybe) dealer between the 2380vs2680 is around $1,500-1,700, Mine will have a 60" mower and 50" front mounted snow blower. I have a 20 degree incline about 60', then it grades out and up a bit more. My question is simply this..Do I need that extra hp in the 2680 to blow the snow while driving up that incline. the 1880 is underpowered for sure and the 23hp may not be enough. You quick reply and opinion will be greatly appreciated. Winter is coming soon in new england. Thanks

If you are going to be blowing lots of snow then going with the 26HP model will pay off. With these smaller tractors horsepower wont effect your traction/grip if your going with the turf tires a set of rear chains will help a lot more then the 3HP..long in short can't go wrong with either the BX2380 or BX2680 with the BX1880 most likely being underpowered for your needs

We used to run the 48" on the 70 series, honestly haven't tried on the 80 series

The 1880 has a 16.6 HP engine, not 18 HP.
