I wish the pba still bowled at stadiums. To have 3 thousand fans instead of like 350 is just amazing. I wish the pba made more effort to grow the sport
C'mon man its Back to the Future.....You should be laughing at those chairs the bowlers have to sit on....What they don't have a fancy furniture store in Japan.
I remember the PBA bowling outside. I think it was Reno? They should return the outside bowling and allow spectators again, like they are for Football. Half the crowd and spread apart but it allows for small crowd to watch live.
We had a charity event tournament about twelve years ago in my hometown in Connecticut, and they set-up lanes out side up the road from our normal alley. Let me tell you it definitely was a weird feeling, but it was cool at the same time. The only thing is the oil enters transition SO much faster due to factors like the heat, wind etc. I definitely would do it again.
This is the kind of hit that robs you in the PBA video game too, it usually carries but is a tad high. If it was Pete Weber the ball would more likely carry due to the side roll he has.

I was thinking the same thing
I wish the same thing also
Love the atmosphere of arena finals. Expensive, but was always a good look for the sport from a televised perspective.
Wish they’d bring it back
But the camera work was bad. 2006 you would think camera positions would have been perfected! SMH
My gosh, that intro was everything that made me started bowling
Never seen that intro before. They should do something that cool today!
A much better high quality version of the 2006 PBA Dydo Japan Cup.
WOW! What an awesome event to watch. Next time i cant figure out the transition, i'm going to try a straight weak ball myself!
You can use my Acme Beeline if you want to
サスガです❗️素晴らしい試合ですね❗️
Wow! I saw pete dweeber show an ounce of sportsmanship! That is very rare. I wounder if I ever seen it before....
The Coleman chairs are a nice touch
PBA should get back into stadiums again.
bruh Robert Smith's hair 😆😆

144 bowlers in the field, only 20 of them are PBA members, and the stepladder final four are all PBA members.
Are you saying this should not be counted as an official PBA tourney ?
@@joeambrose3260 No, just the fact that the JPBA members in this event are so handily crushed by their PBA brethren.
@@iconredesign Yes, but how would our heroes fare in a chopsticks competition ?
@@joeambrose3260💀
Does anyone have 2004 Dydo Cup? It was my favorite bowlers first title and I've never watched it.
Lets suspend the suspense. Who the phuck won it ?

@DASO MILITIA Remember that disaster "PBA in the Park" in NYC?
@DASO MILITIA have you heard of this crazy thing called meteorology?
Walter Ray Williams Jr and Pete Weber are 2 of the best legendary bowlers on the Pba Tour
That's a blanket statement. I want proof !
Terrible camera angles. So many times you can't see the pinfall because the bowlers are blocking it out.
1:06:22 WRW JR goes high flush and leaves a solid 7 pin when he was two strikes away from a 300!!
1:06:21 HOW DID THAT 7-PIN NOT GO DOWN WHYYYYYYYYYY
DAMN IT
You must count Walter ray williams jr nearly perfect

42:01 Randy's full of it. I don't recall one telecast where Schenkel said WRW was "the Errol Flynn of bowling"
Joe Ambrose now what the problem....WRW looks dam sexy.
@@robertcuratolo5339 He's no Errol Flynn
He didn't necessarily say that verbatim. What he said is that Walter Ray looked like Errol Flynn. So Randy is right in a way.

WRWJ flat got hosed. Hard to believe the top 2 bowler of all time doesn't have a 300 on tv.
