Finals like this, where the guys were struggling to figure out the lanes and there was apparently a clear difference between the two lanes, are much more fun to watch than strike-fests. Every ball was a challenge for all 5 bowlers.

Absolutely agree. These days it seems like every pattern you play the gutter with urethane or you loft the left gutter and someone has front 7 or 8 every single game.
