Unfortunately in the 2004 Bahamas Ritter attack, the point of that show was that bull sharks aren't dangerous and won't generally attack you! Obviously a terrible mistake, not only were the sharks huge but there were so many his spotter didn't or couldn't tell Ritter quickly enough where all the sharks were.

Id rather go scubadiving than snorkeling. But in truth if a shark wants to eat you, theres nothing you csn do about it. Even people that survive shark attacks do so because the shark allows them to. Bull sharks can bite off each of your limbs in the span of 20 seconds, if that. Tiger sharks can take limbs super fast and larger great whites and tigers can bite you in half.

Blue Beards Revenge was the name of the boat. The head of the Police force said the waters were shark infested, probably why he was never seen again. And look up the young guy eaten on camera whilst his father watched on helpless, in Egypt, by a 12 ft Tiger Shark, in the video his upside down while his legs are fully out the water, while the shark had him by the head/ chest, his Dad took him there as he did not want his son to have to fight in Ukraine, how unlucky can you get? Yes shark attacks are rare and there are certain things you can do to reduce the chances of being attacked. For example do not swim with seals as they are the main prey of certain large species of sharks. Don’t jump off of boats into the water at night, sharks follow boats as they associate them with food as they discard food overboard. Don’t swim at remote beaches. I’ve swam in Australian waters and while it never left my mind I didn’t feel too worried as we were in extremely clear water and the watchers on the boat could see a long way in the distance. Also remember it’s their domain and we are just visiting. Basically don’t do what the shark attack survivor in this clip did, he was destined to be shark bait!

I hat that they are talking about bull sharks and showed a great white. Also the Erich Ritter incident was mostly caused because the spotter didn’t do their job. That’s what a spotter is there for, to warn the person in the water since you can’t have your eyes everywhere.
And that guy scuba diving with seals is just like asking for being bitten. Stupidity hits reality and now making that big story out if it. Thanks for showing your own stupidity so open. Also it’s known that there are some real dangerous (for humans) species of shark around. Swimming in a hunting ground for sharks with the prey is just like walking through a mine field and hoping to survive. No mercy for that guy… sorry.

His surgery was under local anaesthetic? I should imagine because he was drinking alcohol on the boat on the way in so they couldn’t put him under general. This has to be one of the most stupidity filled interviews I’ve seen on this show and that’s saying something.

I absolutely love and respect sharks and had the opportunity to cage dive with these magnificent creatures in Hawaii recently. I have the upmost respect for them, and what an experience.
