Kudos to Dave for having Josh on. He literally wrote my first programs. I was in the county jail looking down the bidness end of a 16 year bit and a CO who was cool smuggled me in a copy of Jailhouse Strong and so began my hypertrophy journey. 💪💯👍😉

His 4 day power building from Metroflex Powerbuilding book. His 4 day split is one personally enjoy which is half the battle. Benching and Squatting twice a week. There is a bench specific one that worked particularly well for bench. I believe the dead bench, close grip benching, lots of squating with pauses seem to help me the most specifically. I don’t recall the program number in the book.

I’ve been waiting for Josh to show up! Love his videos, his work out, and most of all the crazy shit that comes out of his mouth to motivate you! This isn’t a shoving match outside of a frat house, this is a knife, fight outside of a kick and stab bar!

I pulled my first 405 both sumo and conventional with Josh in the same peak ! He also had me do farmers and yoke on my off season which is when I discovered how much I loved strongman training. Thanks Josh! I learned a lot while training under you!

I've been waiting for him to be on the show for a long time. Best coach in the world right now. His book on bench changed the way I train it. I only hoped you got more into bench specific training in the podcast. Great content anyway, as always!
