Quadratic Function with 2 Unknown Coefficients - Exam Question - IGCSE and IB Mathematics

In this video we learn how to find two unknown coefficients of a quadratic function using 2 points through which its curve passes.
Successively using the x and y coordinates of each of the 2 points we create 2 equation involving the 2 unknown coefficients, which we can then solve simultaneously.
Alongside this we also see how to find the minimum y value, the x intercepts (solutions to the quadratic equation) as well as the parabola’s line of symmetry.
