HOT WHEELS - LEGENDS TOUR AUTO SHOW - MATTEL LOS ANGELES EL SEGUNDO

Sure, Mattel's Hot Wheels (and Matchbox Cars, for that matter) have been a staple of my life. I used to have so, so many I picked up at the small town Massachusetts Five and Dime, Bradlees, King's, Caldor, Ames, K-Mart and Child World stores near me, growing up. Many, over my life. In fact, a few years ago I started up again and picked up a couple Ectos from GHOSTBUSTERS, some Syd Mead ones inspired by BLADE RUNNER, and my beloved DeLoreans from BACK TO THE FUTURE 1, 2 & 3.
Sadly, I gave away most of them about a year ago when I moved to California, though I did keep the Ectos and the Syd Meads. I still lick myself for getting rid of the DeLoreans. I also sold off two 1:18 the scale diecast DeLoreans from Sunstar: both the standard DMC and the BTTF 2 version with the Mr. Fusion. I would love to pick them up again sometime!
But I did see the full scale BTTF1 DeLorean at the show, as well as several MAD MAX, STAR WARS and FAST AND FURIOUS inspired full size cars, as seen here. This video is only about half of what was there. Please enjoy!
