I completely agree Jane. They love the chase. There’s a guy in my life at the moment trying to court me and I’m enjoying the chase. I’m controlling my feelings as well. I call once. If he doesn’t answer, there will not be another call. I’ve also learned not to put all my eggs in one basket. Nothing wrong with conversation. Once I realized that I am okay alone, that’s when God put the man for me in my life. God had told me many times “ be still” and I was. I allowed him to court me and he continues to do so. Bad habits such as giving too much emotionally had to be controlled and still is.

I feel like it's too much work to do all of this. The man who is now my husband chased me and I literally did not feel the same way he felt about me. I didn't have to work hard to control my emotions, or try to be cool etc. I fell in love but knew what I wanted and was ready to let him go if he didn't want the same. Trust me we play “games” in every part of our life. Work, you play games. You and your co-workers relating to each other is a game. Who’s the smartest, who’s the most valuable, who’s the “no-go”, who’s the suck up who’d throw you under a bus anytime so don’t open up to them etc!
I could go on but we do it without intention of even harming. I think it’s really lazy to be mindful of our conduct in all other areas of life but want to be lazy in love. I was raised this way. I had a narcissist for a father and a submissive mother. I weighed in on my father’s tactics. But have some empathy from my mother. Just reading these comments is exhausting. Brings me back to when I used to deal with men and how draining it was having to act this way and act that way. Made me realize that I truly didn’t like the nature of men, especially having to do all this just to get a positive outcome from being bothered with a man. I don’t know if it’s the inferiority complex in them but they can’t handle a real loving partner. @@shawnbrown4485 Not necessarily so….I have been talking to a guy for two months and we just had that conversation about past relationships. It was just about getting to know one another first for the couple of months.
That’s where a lot of women go wrong. Telling a man what you put up with shows him how he should move with you. He’s only gonna give you 5% better treatment then the next man and will be angry that you expect more from him bc he knows what you accepted prior to him coming along. Your past and the man that did you wrong will always be thrown in your face when you require more from him. All he needs to know is it didn’t work out. We were on different paths. Period!

@@Siouxthenation Typically that is already the dynamic. Females usually love deeper and harder than men. We also tend to get attached easier & faster than Men. Not all men however. This can be a disadvantage in luuv and relationships. If our emotions for a person are too strong or hard to control that's not the person we should marry.

His capacity to luuv will always be bigger than mine due to our personalities & what we've both been through. We all luuv someone as best and as much as we possibly can.
