Tour-ID: 2 Room HDB Resale at 7 Jalan Batu House Tour (Japandi with Earth Tone, Bright & Cosy)

This video features one of our esteemed Senior Designer, Yvonne, who will be taking you on a home tour on her project at 7 Jalan Batu. This renovated 2-room resale HDB carries a Japandi theme. We’ll be exploring the fully renovated space that highlights the unique features and design choices that makes this home truly special.
Track lights with warm tones are used to set the cosy mood and atmosphere throughout the whole house. In the living room, we have a full height shoe cabinet which conceals the circuit breaker box and settee for wearing shoes. The house is layed with vinyl floor finish and coupled with off-white paint to bring out a spacious look and feel for the house.
The open-concept kitchen houses a tall unit with pull out tray for kitchen appliances like oven and airfryer. Large format tiles with Marble design are used as the backsplash and marble sintered stone as the tabletop.
The main highlight of the house is the bathroom, where we hacked multiple walls and enlarged it. Marble design tiles and wooden tiles are used for the walls and a built-in wall niches are made to house shampoo bottles.
We also relocated the master bedroom entrance to introduce more privacy for the owners. The full height display is designed with a mixture of glass and wooden doors to display books and porcelain cutlery.
In the bedroom, we customised a full height wardrobe with a recessed area near the bedside to serve as a sidetable.
