4 official motorhome parkups around Lake Windermere in the Lake District, England

- In this vlog we head to one of the busiest areas of the beautiful UNESCO Lake District, Lake Windermere, to see if we can find official motorhome parkups that don't cost the earth. We visit Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside, Hawkshead and Lakeside as we journey around the lake.

I adore the two of you. You could seriously have your own British T. V. Show. I’ve been under the weather again but watching your videos makes my day. I get the best giggles from both of you. We stayed at the lakeside a few times last year brilliant stop, also found a free elsan and water fill up not too far away as well. Need to try the Aire in Ambleside as it looks really nice..

Four nights in the lakes for £70 , I thought to myself, well there's a mission, but you cruised through and done the impossible, and the resemblance is uncanny, you served us up a nice cocktail of stop overs and humour as always, another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍, oh do you also do all your own stunts 🤣

When I lived just outside Bowness we had Sunday Lunch virtually every Sunday at The Lakeside Hotel.

Just watched 4 night lake district enjoyed I think putting the what three words on the screen a game changer, brilliant idea more should do the same. Keep it up guys. We have a VW T6 and are always looking for places to visit

Where did you get the water hose connector thingy from? What is it? Does it connect to the water input point? Excuse my ignorance but we are brand new to this, only bought our first motorhome 2 weeks ago and I don’t want to stand holding the hose waiting for the water tank to fill !!
Hi, not sure what you mean, sorry. You’ll need a length or two of hose pipe, preferably blue food safe. Then a set of connectors. Search for “Hozelock” and get enough parts to join two or three shorter lengths of hose. Also, (Hozelock) get a selection of fittings/adaptors to connect to the taps you will find on sites/aires. They range in thread size from 1/2” to 3/4” to 1”. Also the one that fits over any tap (just in case) you then will never have a problem filling up 👍
