I really appreciated this video. I didn't realize the depths that Tory Lanez could reach.
Tamara Howard yeah he’s pretty well rounded
Thank God somebody is actually talking about the story being told in the song and not about what a good rapper 50 cent is he is good but still
Tory is a really talented, truly
George explaining one of Tory’s interviews at the end there really spoke to me. I’m from Toronto & every time I think of Tory Lanez I think of that one day at the mall when he stopped a group of my friends & I asking us to buy one of his CD’s. He offered to sing and rap it for me. We were broke kids at the time and only I bought one. I still have it to this day and it’s amazing to see how far he’s come in the game. I don’t know him personally but I’m so proud of him! 🙌🏾💗
at bramalea?
This album is crazy in my opinion. Great reaction guys.
Lmao 50 is something man but you right ain't nobody want smoke with that. This record from Tory featuring 50 is really good. It's great to hear from fif ever since he making it big with stuff like Power, 50 central, and Den of Thieves. Tory gave such a rich storytelling piece that has deep meaning to it that is rare to hear in rap in this era. The song itself was engineered very well and the beats didn't hinder the mood of the story that Tory was telling which was dope. In all honesty this was really a good listen and shoutout to Lost In Vegas for the reaction and the sharp breakdowns on the story.
Nate Baker ik right, i was thinking the same, the story shocked me because its not something u hear in todays music
I love Tory Lanez thx for listening to this song!
Was just about to suggest this one!! Although it was short 50 was perfect ln this track for me
Damn so glad y'all reacted to this
Will love to see more Tory Lanez reactions. Really enjoy his craft. My Favorite artist. Memories don’t die goes CRAZYYYYY
50 still the man. He was kind of wrong on the Ross deal. That's just who he is.
Yea man that was grimey, but that’s 50. Man is a gangster through and through, that’s just how he always been and probably always will be.
I like what y’all had to say about his work ethic. That really is a diminishing trait that I hope doesn’t ever disappear, otherwise, we as a society will fall and never flourish again.
As always... react to Between the Buried and Me is needed ;)
Nice reaction guys! I really wanted to see your reaction on this song. Because I enjoy his new album very much, it's really diverse. It has storytelling songs like this and songs to listen to in the car and just feel good.
Wow. Another great song, another great reaction. Shining light on the dim corridors of music that I've either missed or didn't know existed. Well done.
I'd like to see you react to Lingus by Snarky Puppy. That is all.
Stuart Taft yes dude Lingus by Snarky Puppy is fantastic
Great review guys!!! Tory is my fav artist ever so this was satisfying to watch people admire his work ethic 👌
Wow... That was a damn good song and a great reaction as always. Thanks for the content
Glad to see some representation of my city on here. Dope!
Not into much rap music but checked this Tory Lanez guy out cause of you guys and he's absolutely talented af! Fair play to the dude!
Your guy's reactions are by far my favorite on youtube!
I wish you guys would react him 50 Cent some of his power of the dollar stuff was very lyrical and he had a different flow before he got shot
How to rob
Im a Hustler
The Good Die Young
Oh this that Nas sample The Message, shouts out the og’s that know that song
Anotha one. Great video as always. In honor of Mastodon inviting you guys to their Vegas show, you guys should give em another shot, with some of their newer stuff. Since you guys said you liked Brent Hinds almost southern twang, North Side Star features him alot and is also very chill. The whole EP (only 4 songs) is more groove metal (or sometimes called stoner metal because...well you get it.), so i think you'd like it more. Cheers.
"show yourself" should be the next mastodon reaction, the guys would love it
great video, accessible song
When did that happen?
You guys are hands down my top favorite reactors on youtube. I just requested for you guys to do this song too. Amazing reaction!!
Tory just don't stop. I know I'm late but heard this 2day n it hit hard🔥💯 it reminds me of Renay "Lost Boyz" 🔥 n more 🔥
Tory Lanez, the most versatile artist FACTS
Tory once said that the story based on a true event that happened like this so it’s not a normal storytelling song it’s a real story.
The mom is the woman that got his dad hooked on pills from the beginning of the song, I think her saying "your pops was a good man" because he wasn't like that before he met her and got on the drugs.. He said the dad woke up with a new persona.
Shout out to the early Free Thinkers!
The early bird
Must do the ROYCE 5'9/DJ Premier (PRhyme) funkflex freestyle that went on today.
Want them to react to this and the Loaded Lux freestyle that happened like in September of last year
Josh V. Royce has so many layers in his punches and metaphors. Detroits illest mc (however, not the owner of the illest hip hop album from Michigan ((that goes to Binary Star)).
Gino Benatti that Royce freestyle was black thought tier level bruh 🔥🔥🔥🔥
BMP 23 i agree. I liked how Royce broke it up in 3s so it can be digest it more.
Need them to react to this asap
Yes so glad you’re doing this song. After I heard story Lanes new sway freestyle I had to check out this album
Deserved an award...
Free thinkers unite!!! Love how you guys react to the songs!
LOL, I have to sit and reflect that while perusing the satellite radio I came across "Every little step" by Bobby Brown... then come home and see you reacting to this............
How times have changed.
Was on the fence about downloading this album. Definitely going to now
#Freethinkers ... Another fire track! Please keep them coming and thanks for what you do!
George man your so full of knowledge... Im blessed watching vidoes from you guys. When you shouted out Nas - The Message and then said the original song was from Sting ( Shape of my heart) that showed me how broad your music knowledge is... Much Love to both of you guys ! Please react to Locksmith ft Ra The Rugged man - House of Games 2 Or The Love.... Much love and respect
You guys never fail love it
Not surprised, another dope video.
Devin Townsend - Deadhead (Live at Royal Albert Hall)
Thanks for breaking that down and periodically pausing to explain it, otherwise I would never have gotten that from this song (Terribly white, I make Casper look tan). I really enjoyed that track and if you hadn't given it the "Free Thinker Treatment", I would have totally missed out on it.
damn 50 still got it going on!!! Accentuates Tory Lanez,, another one I never heard of before. I really enjoyed this one as well.
Helped me through a tough one with this video, lads. Thank you.
Glad to see some 50 on this channel, that’s my dude. He doesn’t make any of my greatest of all time rapper lists but he will always be a personal favorite of mine. He’s the last of the unapologetic gangster rappers. Also, amongst the OGs in rap, 50 being one of them they always have an immense amount of presence on a track that the younger guys just don’t have. I haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly what it is that a rapper does or has that creates that type of presence but it immediately draws your attention. Maybe it’s a product of being in the game a long time, maybe it’s conviction? Maybe it’s just personality? Any thoughts? Either way I would love to see some classic 50 on here, Get Rich, Power of the Dollar or any of the early mixtape shit. Oh and it’s all good y’all, don’t nobody want smoke from 50 lmao.
Yes!!! You have to check out “Hate To Say” or “Hapiness x Tell Me” and or “DON’T DIE” from the album
50 will always be a goat
lamborule 10 The last G of rap💯
I like this beat 🤗 Love y’all and this channel. Keep it rolling 😍😍
This song was actually pretty sweet just downloaded the album excited to see what else he’s got to offer .
Also tech n9nes album planet came out last Friday and it’s full of gold so make sure to check it out sometime
First of all, I love all your vids and your epic breakdowns, keep it up, always been a fan
2nd I wanna request Plain Jane by ASAP Ferg. I know it's kinda not relevant, but I nearly dont understand a single line of that song, yet I can still rap it flawlessly. It's maybe because I'm from Denmark, but I listen to rap everyday and understand them all - but really want you to breakdown this one :DD
You're right, George. It's from the Sting song Shape of my Heart
Love the story telling aspect in this, was really quite well delivered too in my opinion. Would love to see you guys react to The Dillinger Escape Plan's Farewell, Mona Lisa.
Really enjoy you guys. I am starting to listen to a wider range of music since subbing to your channel, thank you. Would like to suggest any song from Manowar Kings of Metal album. Don't have to make video, just try them out.
Thanks for posting, I'm getting more and more into Tory Lanez. FYI Royce just dropped a new Funk Flex freestyle promoting Prhyme 2. Worth a watch!
New fan and subscriber from Scotland. As a metal and hip hop fan you guys are dropping some great content. For underground UK hip hop though I gotta suggest The Four Owls - Think Twice (prod. By DJ Premier) these guys spit some raw fire & primo back dropping another banger... Nice mix of upcoming UK talent on an old school beat
Great channel guys......I’m a Uk subscriber and would really like to see your reaction to Sampha - (no one knows me) like the piano. Keep up the good work. Peace.
Do "Flatbush Zombies - Headstone" pleaseeee
cassio2034 ANY Flatbush lol
Was waiting for this
YES THANK YOU GUYS!!
I really like the drum track in this song.. Love your feedback on music
Another great video gentlemen!!! I love watching these. Just subscribed today! I’m currently serving in the navy, so I look forward to these every week.
Please do any of the following:
Country: “Big Iron” by Marty Robins, “Ghost Riders in the Sky”, by Johnny Cash
Good track y'all are dope🔥🔥
Madd song, thanks guys this song is definitely getting added to me playlist! You guys should react to cradle of filth - her ghost in the fog
"Shape of my heart" is that Sting song that Nas sampled. I think it's funny how well some of these soft rock ballads from the 80's and 90's fits really well with hip-hop. I think back to when Bone Thugs did that song with Phil Collins.
“I Ain’t Your Man” - Milltown Road Band. Up and coming band from GA. Great music and a sound you guys haven’t done yet
Can you guys react to 1 train by asap rocky
Xzavian Fluitt yes
omg yeesss
you really think they havent heard that yet?..
Machine Head - Halo
Great lyricism and well put together. Love 50!
😭 sooo sad. Thank you guys for breaking down the song. Love you guys. I have a request please play TOP OFF by DJ Kaled feat. Future, Jay Z & Beyonce.
Ahh man great video!
Maybe a Buckethead review? JORDAN or Welcome to Bucketheadland
Yup ..........I really got into this . Not that i'm anybody important but , I'm impressed . See , as a music lover for "most" genres there are a few I had issues with . This "style" happens to be one of them , maybe it's because there's too many out there that create music with no "meaning" behind the song. Metal has that emotion ,which in smart story telling creates an attractiveness to the whole song. THIS song , is refreshing and I find it's a positive step towards bringing back "meaningful" music like it was back in the day in old school r'nB / rap . Thanks George & Ryan ....Free Thinkers rulezzz !!!!!!
Please react to : Shock by FearFactory . They are the entrepreneurs of industrial metal which is where growl/clean vocals began combining together. Enjoy !!!
Keep doing Tory lanez! His freestyles are fire
love the videos guys, been around since the logicthon, i think you should react to some croosh, either “Woah” or “I Need”, i’m curious to see your guys opinion on him
Clutch! Incomparable Mr. Flannery
Death - Lack of Comprehension
The lyrics are very interesting and it's one of Death's entry level songs.
I have been making assumptions about rappers today without ever looking up their material that I slept on this dude. Lyrical and emotional story.
Thanks for giving this one a shot bro!
Damn guys! I just started checking this project out like 15 minutes ago. On some psychic shit 🔥
Edit: I wrote the comment before I finished the video and now Ryan out here talking about projects at the end... Great reaction guys

They actually picked the song I suggested I'm geeked
Great stuff as usual. Would love to see a video of you guys review/react to that most def/Busta track "do it now"
Had me cracking up out the gate! XD Please react to the video of Django Jane by Janelle Monae!! I'm not going to give up
Keep up the good work guys! You guys should check out Reo Cragun - on my way, or Santino le Saint - Her.
If you guys want another good storytelling song to react to give King Park by La Dispute a chance.
Great review. Love the unbiased approach. Can you guys watch Boogie - won't be the same.
Therapy Session - NF
Also give some love to Watsky.
Dent in the moon, No Flex Zone remix, Talking to myself. All good ones.
Rap man blue storyy!!!!This is a must based on true events
Dope video once again guys ! One of those storytelling songs that's really great and play on the different point of views of a story is "Heaven on earth" by Vic Mensa. If you ever decide to dive into some more storytelling this one will do the trick I'm sure ! Congrats on the recent success from France, it's well deserved ! #Freethinkers
No matter the genre, I love a good story in a song
I'm an old school metal head. I liked the track. I need to remember to grab the lyrics before I listen to your rap reviews because I have trouble following. Becoming a free thinker 👍
Gooood morning las vegas!
My name is Mr. Knowitall. And I know, that you will react to the amazing PRIMUS!
Alter Bridge - Isolation (Excellent guitar riffs, strong vocals from Myles Kennedy, a great rocking jam!)
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction (Good groove that y'all will like. Dave's growling vocals are epic)
Anthrax - Only ( One of their best, good rhythm, strong vocals from John Bush)
Shinedown - The Crow & The Butterfly
DOPE REVIEW AND DOPE SONG!!! CAN I REQUEST THE ROYCE DA 5'9 FUNKFLEX FREESTYLE NEXT.
Yo! I don't know know how many people requested this but y'all have done both things I've ever asked so much love! I've been watching you guys for a minute now and it's always entertaining
Heard this song 10 times and didnt realize the story till yall broke it down, i wish i listened better
Royce da 5,9 funkflex freestyle 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Maybe do a throwback review of some older hip-hop. Welcome to Atlanta Remix, Jermaine Dupree for example
Shout out to 50!!! The Trouble Maker, 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
They need to do more Tory Lanez - PlayBoy
Didn’t get me hooked but appreciate you guys keeping the reactions coming.
Incubus- summer romance
Please react to the Royce da 5'9'' Funk Flex freestyle... TREMENDOUS bars... right up there with the top imo.
that dude tory can rap his ass off and hit you with some smooth R&B, he's the man
My memories of 50 won't die. Do Look Alive- Joyner Lucas next plz!!
