On the edge of sub-sector Aurelia, a forge world thought lost to the Somnium Stars reappears from the warp, broadcasting messages of reconciliation and good tidings. The hard-pressed Blood Ravens, now bereft of many of their chapter worlds, deploy a techmarine to bring the errant world back into the Imperial fold, and hopefully, receive a much needed tithe of fresh wargear and supplies. The astartes strike cruiser is welcomed into low orbit, and the techmarine is received by the planetary governor, a self appointed lord general. All goes well until, wary of the betrayal the Chapter endured on Aurelia, the techmarine seeks answers on the guardsmen's survival in the warp, their inexplicable good health, and untouched infrastructure.
The heretics spring their trap, ranks of guardsmen and stormtroopers form a wall of lasgun fire, invoking the name of Ulkair, a daemon whose enmity with the Blood Ravens dates back millennia. As the astartes fall back to their thunderhawks, they are ambushed by traitor legionaries bearing the mark of the plague god, led by a mighty champion calling himself Ulkair's chosen. To make matters worse, ravenous Tyranids swarm amid these seasoned warriors. A lictor alpha harries the surviving Blood Ravens, rending isolated battle brothers limb from limb, their tortured screams echoing over the vox. The techmarine was but an initiate when he survived the fall of Typhon Primaris, but he has seen enough Tyranids during the same to know these are of Hive Fleet Leviathan, and have been bound to the traitors' wills through foul sorcery.
All seems lost, when an Eldar vampire raider soars above the battlefield, cutting a swathe through the renegades and tyranids on the ground. First to reach the loyalists are a warlock and his warp spider retinue, bearing word from the Harlequin world of Arcadia. As the Blood Ravens regroup, the presence of the Eldar emboldens them, for rumors spread quickly between xenos and man that Gabriel Angelos himself will soon return from Acheron.
Far beyond the stars, the Eldar Webway resounds with the pitiless humor of the Laughing God. Man and Eldar, traitor and devourer, all will dance their part in this final act. It is the 42nd Millennium, and there is only war.

Man chaos had a rough game, I think he might be new but he took more losses than anyone else. Did anyone see any manticore strikes, I can't remember seeing any. Tough to micro everything especially tanks. Guard had some amazing storm dodging skills. I wonder if the early nid game could have been better assisting chaos over trying sneaky plays. But nids proved kind of the block that could hold the bottom down freeing the guard to move and assist the natural vp.
    Well played.

Honestly, Red Team plays like a brick in this game, spamming a single unit type that should really have been hard countered, and floating around like no tommorow till the very end.
Yet their skill floor is just too high, they overwhelmed the Blue Team with their micro even not without the correct strategy. Solid game, just probably coukd have ended a lot earlier

Hi! Is this the unmodded version? I would like to get into it but dont know whether to go over Steam or GoG, also does it require any third party software for finding matches or is it done in game? Thank you very much!

Five prisms take out one Leman. Pretty standard.
