Kizaru's devil fruit is light, while his actions are overal slow and unintrested. He's very relaxed,hell every time you see him it looks like he just finished a bag of weed.

Kizaru tried to kill whitebeard right away and end the war quickly, a good strategy that unfortunately failed and aokiji was unavoidable, stopping whitebeard tsunami saving everyone. I get that they all couldn't leave, but they left for damn good reasons.
