You can get painters auto tape on eBay or an auto store like Autozone.

How were you able to get rid of the rough texture that the glitter paint leaves behind? I want to paint mine like that.

Let the glitter paint dry for about 24 hours and then spray on clear. Wet sand the clear after a few coats and do it again. But make sure the clear coat is also fully dry before you wet sand it. Then you can buff out the clear and make it shine.
