Princess Peach Showtime has those cookies in its Patisserie level. I'm thinking Nintendo designed those cookies in the beginning for Yoshi Cookie and just went, "Yep. These are how cookies will look forever."
@@julien827 I mean, they could just use a regular ass cracker or chocolate chip cookie; the fact that it's always the same specific group of cookies makes it clear that those cookies from Yoshi's cookies are some type of recurring reference; kinda like the whole A113 of various Pixar movies.
A cool note about the Piranha Plant music box is that it’s in the room filled with Bulborbs. I think this was intentional as both Piranha Plants and Bulborbs are red and white spotted enemies that are asleep and then aggressive when woken up.
I was kind of hoping you'd do Pikmin 4. It would be very cool to see obscure details in this game's engine and compare it to the older Pikmin games like you did with SMBW.
While I do like a good ol' fashioned obscure reference... But, I kind of wish the Gamecube game was Wario World, that kind of joke is just too irresistible to me.
I would like to include a leaflet from the Classic DS era - Koi-Koi was a playable Card Game in "ClubHouse Games" 6:41 I found it to be a welcome surprise seeing "Crane" (Far Left) and "Full Moon" (Middle) cards in pikmin 4! Having looked it up, the 5 Hanafuda cards here are the high-scoring 5 Lights cards!
In Pikmin 2, one of her treasures is an Famicom Disk System disk for Mysterious Murasame Jou, so it featured a game not released in the west (at the time, at least) on a console not released on the west!
I had every Nintendo till wii. I bought 3 switch consoles for me and my son. I remember nintendogs but today is the only time i ever remember hearing about it seeing that Nintendo character design artists had to actually think about, talk about amongst each other, and ultimately decide on modeling the dogs with realistic anatomy. Meaning a Nintendo artist's job was to actually intentionally include a butt hole on a dog's butt. there aren't many situations quite like this specific one, but if i could only find a way back in time or a leaked video, i would pay good money to listen to the conversations at Nintendo to include realistic anatomy. I bet if there was more than one conversation about it, every one past the first one was more intense and hilarious.

I mean, they're real styles of cookie. Why mess with a good thing?
Not to mention they've been in some Mario Party games too. Definitely Mario Party 4 :)
Its a basic ass cookie you can find anywhere

The red Pikmin kinda reminds me of the red Pikmin from Pikmin released on October 26 2001 for the GameCube

You made 3 mistakes in a such simple word "Pacman". 3!
