  • A real world comparison of the boot times of the new Pi Zero 2 verses the old Pi Zero W using Pi OS Lite (+ OMXplayer & FBI Splashscreen).

    PLEASE NOTE - The Waveshare 2.8inch screen will require a different setup to Buba447's Simpsons TV guide. The GPIO pins used are different, so you will have to alter his code a little to get it to work.

    Just wondering was it faster on subsequent boots as a swap might have needed some minor system reconfiguration during the first boot

      Which screen have you got? Are we talking about just getting the thing up and running or the Simpson TV / video player thing?

      @@megazoid Waveshare 2.8 dpi LCD with a raspberry pi zero w 2. I can't get anything to show up on the screen. Once that is sorted out I'm planning on making the simpsons tv. I appreciate the help!
