Great vid! I could jus sit and stare at all the fish and coral four hours on end. Every detail of this setup is so well thought out. Also we noticed this camera work is a lot smoother than before. Thank you.
Greetings from the UK and thanks for inviting us in to look at one awesome tank. Hope you and Anya are doing well and your shop is booming. What's happening with the big fibreglass tank?
To key running at full speed is giving the vectra its full 36v. just buy the battery backup booster and every vectra can run at full speed on battery back up. But I’m all about that DIY Sealed Lead acid battery back ups!
I saw DIY I saw lights , was at first thinking the 8 grand on lights was DIY! I’d run my lights like that if it wasn’t in our living room , looks great .
Really inspiring set up with some great ideas implemented. Could you give more infomation on your battery back up as a would like to replicate it on mine. Rgds Tristan
The main tank just looks 👀 spectacular with crystal clear water, large corals, fish all look 👀 healthy, the smaller tank is a great 👍 addition. What a ingenious support system running these tanks, this all must have taken a lot of planning, and time to build and install, the weight alone must have taken some reinforcement of the flooring. On the follow up video Cam, you must cover how the water Change is done, and how long that takes. Also how long has this system been set up and running for ? 👍🏴
That spa heat pump is a brilliant idea. But the heat exchange, is it saltwater resistant? Do you have salt water spa's in australia? I checked what is available here, but the heat exchange seems to be made either out of copper or stainless.
Nice, that really looks like an awesome machine! Pricey, but it must be far more efficient than a normal heater, and way less noise than a normal chiller.
good night friend, my name and alex. I'm from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. I follow all your videos. referring to that aquarium. the mobile and metalon ne? I assembled mine here with metalon. close friends are saying that it doesn't last long, that it will rust and end the years. what is your experience regarding metalon in marine aquarium?
Hi The chiller is a evoheat fusion i7. Is a inverter model so the power ramps up and down as needed. For my application runs at very low speed. I have is set on the silent mode which means it never runs over 50% power. evoheat.com.au/product/fusion-i-series/
Very well thought out system. Beautiful. You like the pipes running outside the house idea Cam? Check out the channel Daily Reefing, Jeff takes reef plumbing to a whole new level.
What is the owners light settings on the cube? I have a very similar setup with a carpet nem. Looks like a gen 5 radion? Light program, overall intensity?
Hey mate, I don't really have a photo that shows it as the doors just look like normal panels. I just used a spade bit and drilled a shallow hole and super glued in a high strength magnet, then just painted over the top. The stand being steel they just hold on

Wows super fantastic saltwater aquarium and video too sir..... Thanks for sharing video for us... please check out my saltwater aquarium see what you think sir...
The tank is nice, BUT there was absolutely nothing DIY about this video. Plumbing and wire managing a tank doesn't fall in the DIY category. Outside of the misleading title, the video was good.
I guess we looked at the light mount and battery backup as DIY. Ecotech make a light rail that Ben could have used, but instead he fashioned one out of some solar panel railing he had. He also could have bought the Ecotech battery backup to power a pump in the event of a power outage, but instead he made his own system out of car batteries. Cam
@@GalleryAquaticaTV mix matching parts doesn't constitute DIY, for example using a different battery for a battery backup is not DIY. Making a homemade battery or making battery backup controller from scratch would be DIY. I would give you the light mount, if I couldn't walk into any hardware store and buy a aluminum light rail mount kit that looks exactly like what he is using. Building things from scratch is DIY, buying pre-made items and using for their intended purposes is not DIY. For example, buy a industrial chiller and use as a chiller or buying a car battery and using it as a battery.
@@GalleryAquaticaTV If he made the stand, that is DIY but you did talk about it or focus on it in the video. @@tw157059 Surpisingly not. The units are about $2200. A standard chiller for an aquarium this size is close to $2000 here anyway.
