On the paint by number. I actually had the app for a while last year. The special is different as it has shading. The ones that don't have special are just blocks of colour. No shading. Hope that helps.
I find a silly kind of joy in people saying "perler beads", because perler in danish mean beads, so technically they are saying "bead beads". I dont know why, i just find it funny 😅😁
It's a thing English does to define 'we borrowed this thing from another culture/language but already have a different definition for the direct translation'. perler beads are specifically the melty ones, chai tea is spiced tea with milk, naan bread is a specific type of bread, etc. Note also that the vast majorities of large deserts are basically named Desert Desert. Gobi, Sahara, etc.

I played the Let's Create! Pottery game and when you do the missions there are little starts at the bottom of the refrence photo that tell you if you've got the shape and color right. If you have 5 stars then you've got it perfect it you've got 1 star you've got it wrong
I have a tendency to feel whatever my characters are feeling... Ex. If I'm drawing an angry character I tend to scrunch my face up. If they have a balled up fist I ball up the one I'm not using. Ex. Happy character, I can't help but smile when drawing. Even if I'm not particularly happy at the moment. Do you draw a lot of angry characters? Maybe that's why you rage draw. I can't be the only one who does this.

What ends up happening is I quit then I come back later and end up tracing it... yes, I do trace templates but I usually don't for other things on my character.
I really enjoyed the app I Love Hue. I don't know if it could be classified as a crafting app, but it's sorting color tiles into spectrums. I found it incredibly relaxing and satisfying.

I remember lots of different patterns to buy with the money you make, and there are more email requests. I don’t thinkkkkk I remember there being a lite version, I defo never paid for a “pro” game.
I think there was a bit of time where they made the pro version free I think it was either an anniversary for the app or a thanks for a ton of downloads 🤔
Yeah you can only buy a certain number of colors/patterns with the coins you make auctioning off your pottery, but after you buy all the colors/patterns w/ game coins... (make so many pieces of pottery that you feel like you've made every combination possible). You would have to A. go premium to unlock the other stuff not available without an actual in-app- purchase or B. Delete it. I chose B a long time ago, it just got boring.
TOP FAVE APPS FOR ME ARE Colorscape which is a coloring app where you can upload your own photos and convert them into coloring pages and then ColorTherapy. ColorTherapy is a coloring pages app where you can get extremely detailed with your coloring and some AMAZING editing you can do with the outlines and all sorts of stuff.
I really love Pocket world 3D, I find it super relaxing. The best advice I can give you is to start from the inside and then start finding your way to the outside of the environment, that way you don't get to those blind spots Jackie found.

See, I have that cross stitch app, and I really like it. I find it very relaxing and fun, I agree that it is basically a color by number, but I enjoy it more than other color by number apps. Also, the paying coins to fix mistakes is completely optional, that's why the yellow hook has sparkles on it.

Each of us have individual talents or gifts, I love cross stitching, and crocheting, but I can't knit to save my life! I like the idea of sculpting, but haven't been brave enough to atempt sculpting yet, same with painting. So I understand your lack of interest in yarn or stitch art. 😉

I have the first game and I love it. Was excited to see it as one of them. I’ve been playing it for several months now, and there’s still so many levels, and they add new each week. I’ll be amazed if I ever manage to complete them all. They even add new levels each week plus there’s often special events. And the best part is that it’s actually free to play. It’s not even energy based like a lot of games (event levels are, but not regular levels), so there’s no “buy more energy to play more levels”. I was surprised to hear that you thought it has clunky controls though, I’ve never experienced that myself. This kinda sounds like an ad, but I promise it’s not 😂 I just genuinely love this game 😂 excited to see what the rest of them are!

I love paint by number, I have had it for a long while, there are special ones, and ones with no special textures, and I was also worried about the gems, but they are really nothing to worry about. Yeah sometimes it is annoying, but it is really fun honestly.
I'm using the Paint By Number app. I find it very relaxing, although I agree, that sometimes, finding the smaller bits can be very hard, and downright annoying. Also, there is actually relaxing sound on some of the pictures you can do. On those, a musical note will be placed on the image. :) Great video as always
