But the answer to the Logo is because the super snake starts of as a GT mustang and Shelby America work on it and converts it to a super snake and add a CSM #.
The actual If you want to call it regular Shelby GT350 - GT500 is made by the Ford
Motor company it’s all Ford politics remember Shelby had his own shop making cars before getting together with Ford .
but yes it’s a very interesting question I wondered myself and hope that helps to clear that out.

because if u wash ur car and know it all looks spotless and someone closes ur door with their hand on the window they leave huge ass hand prints..so whenever u look out the passenger window all u see is a big ass hand.

The hood catches air like a sill on the cars though. The hood sticks out over the headlights near the nose piece on both sides, almost a full inch!!!!!... Those headlights and hood need to be flush. Smooth airflow is the key.

I'm a Ford fan, through and through... I get that Americans aren't really about refinement. But if you're gonna build such a nice car, actually have attention to detail that would make everyone jealous. The stripes on the door don't even line up. More lines are off on the body. Yea, absolutely a savage motor with a gnarly sound that I love. Great suspension. Brakes, yada yada. Just for once... build a perfect Mustang with some closer attention to the little things. Please Ford. Please. Refine that beast.

they aren't even a real gt 500 that's the true base for a super snake they are using a regular gt with the 5.0 l in it that's how they are building them I seen a show about them building these sad

Hey, Lou...I just recently talked to Shelby American and they said that the "WideBody Package" that was shown on the 2017 Shelby Super Snake WideBody Concept Car will be available as an option on the 2018 Shelby Super Snake! But so far, no price on the WB Package has been set yet! SA is going for over 800HP+ using the New 2018 Gen. 5 / 3.0L Whipple Supercharger and is also available with the New 2018 Ford Paddle Shift 10sp Auto Trans!

I"m 99% sure that's just a supercharged 5.0 but I can't tell to well, it just... sounds and looks like a 5.0...but if i'd have to guess it's around 700hp+ and at least 650tq+.
I know you can drop an intake, exhaust, and a vortech procharger on a 2012 5.0 and get nearly 700hp (there's one on yt with 720 actually).
If that's the case... that's odd.
Chevy went with a 6.2l corvette engine in the SS alone, and then supercharged it for the ZL1. will be an interesting race between the ZL1 and the super snake gt500

There is still a ton of useless interior parts we don't need. Get rid of touchscreens, leather, digital screens, GPS, garage door opening junk, hands-free calling, cruise control, and heated seats, and that steering wheel alone cost $1000.

The pin stripe color should be the rim colors in a powder coated chrome blue. Being a 50th anniversary it should have that.

Nice ride, but it could use the Cobra on the front emblem like the older models, along with the gt500super snake on lower side effects instead of just super Snake. Adds a little more flavor. Definitely need some better lug nuts. Threads should not be exposed on a beauty like this. Can't afford a 2017, but looking at the 07-09 Super Snakes. My next toy. Moving up from 04 Cobra.

Hi Lou you mentioned in the video that there was an app to change the colour of the cobalt guages how do I get hold of that ? I am able to change the main instrument cluster colour and the accept colour but can't change the tripple cobalt guage color to match on my 2017 supersnake.

@@loucostabile I can change the accent lighting and the the main guage color without problem. But the cobalt guage cluster (boost / fuel pressure and oil prrssure) always stays blue. I have just picked the car up from the garage as they had to replace the cobalt guage under warrant the fuel pressure guage wasn't working.. now all works but the colour doesn't change... I was sure it did before and came across this video ..
Man, this car is amazing! The performance for the money is absolutely amazing! Especially since the cars value goes UP for it being a legitimate Shelby opposed to if you modified it yourself. Only gripe I have is that the Shelby logo isn't on the steering wheel. Other than, one hell of a car!

New to Shelby here. Just wondering why the wheel hub bolts extend past the rims? Noticed that and all I could think of is maybe for a wider body kit or trying to pop someone’s tires with those. Lol

Funny didn't hear them mention how their cars ALL have a battery drain and cooling fan problem. When they delivered our 2016 Super Snake (a year later than promised) it was puking anti freeze and every corner had a brake fluid leak, battery was dead!! Shleby has no QC program anymore and they deliver total JUNK!!!!!!! Carol deserves better!!!

The GT350 was designed by Ford. These cars are Mustang GT's that Shelby upfits into Super Snakes, and they don't bother to rework the gauge cluster.

Ways to improve that would be trying a much more expensive camera, or have an editing Team, both of those I hope will come in the future, and I hope soon, and the Channel grows, Lou

November of 2018. As the economy is still VERY competitive in the IT field, I am endeavoring in another field. Driving hazardous materials in a semi truck. The money is outrageous, & as my body has gotten quite broken over the last 6 years, it's rather easy on my physically.
I actually just acquired my CDL this past Monday. I have a couple license endorsements to get, then I'll be ready. I'm very blessed to have this resource as an option!

Every Super Snake in the past has been based off a Snake, a GT500.
This car is based on a GT.
It's NOT a Super Snake, since it's not a SNAKE to begin with.

What else is there to say besides Super Snake? That says it all. Still managing to keep much of the old school Shelby look alive with this modern high-tech beast, how wonderful.
I saw the very first race for a GT350R to run in at Green Valley Raceway with the late great Ken Miles at the wheel. Yes, I am old school myself and proud to be. Oh and of course the Gt350R blew everything into the weeds that cold day. Thanks Dad, for taking your eight year old son to the races. I wish you were alive to see where things have gone today. i got my '13 GT back in 2014 and had a kid in 2015. I was worried that i may have to sell my Stang and buy some toyota family friendly car but that did not happen because my wife stayed with my decision and we just got 2nd car for our family. Now my little will be 2 yrs old and he just wants to sit in Stang (during daycare pickup/dropoff). i m glad to keep my Stang (just had to work hard to manage expenses). 😊
Keep working, and paying those bills. You're actions are proving your a Good role model for your Child who likes cars :-) Lou
