Statham! Quit leaning in for the kiss, man...jk, great pick! I like that if youre losing you can tank the game for everyone. I find that at higher player count you will have clusters of players that can't move...but its a quick game so it ain't that bad.
I love this game. It's so much fun. I bring it with me on trips, holiday, tea houses, work, and making a hustle. Nah, just taking a piss M8. 😄👍 But I do take it with me on holiday. I agree with you on the opinions but it's cool I like it but I'm not crazy about it.
Really enjoyed the video Mr BG Bollocks, interesting to see a geezer reviewing games! This little game would be jelly tot on as a gift or a filler / opener at a group game session. OINK games do a unique range of these very small boxes and I have been curious to try them out. This one is the best selling OINK game I think, and it's not going to break the bank so its a bit of a no brainer. I will have to check more of your reviews mate.
What makes the first turn unique from the rest of the game? I didn't get that part. As far as easy mode, i wonder if it would work if everytime you land on a blank token it would mitigate air reduction by 1. Effectively this would just slow down the depletion of air while still fitting within the luck based systems of the game. I'll have to try it sometime.
You don’t move the air marker as no one has moved. The rules say the first step is to do this but don’t make clear it doesn’t happen in first round. Might seem obvious but me being a thicko found it head scratching.
@@BoardGameBollocks It does say to reduce the air based on the amount of ruin tokens you hold, since it's the first turn you wouldn't reduce the air because you wouldn't yet have any ruins. Air reduction isn't based on player movement.
@@BoardGameBollocks Ah, i see the confusion now. Ruin chips are mentioned under Set Content, but it's not clear that Ruin chips and "treasure" are the same token. So either better graphical design consideration or first turn clarification would help, gotcha.
Thanks for this. The game seems like it would be a suitable swap-out for Diamant but my gaming will remain restricted until next Spring (or Summer?) and I think this would want 4+ for best experience?
This is a great little game. One of my favourites and so easy to teach.
Thanks for reviewing great games that aren’t brand new “hotness”. This is a great one.
You’re welcome mate 👍🏻
Just purchased! Should be fun!

Great review. I would like to try it, but might be a race to see who can send as many friends as possible to a watery grave. :^)
Good reason to play it then 😂 It’s cheap as chips too 👍🏻

We have another decent on called The Outsider and we’re planning on getting A Failed Artist Goes to New York too…mainly because I get to play myself.
Well said mate
this game gets lots of plays in our groups

Yea but it doesn’t tell you what they are till later. Easier to say do t do this in first round...job done.

4 would prob be best. 6 gets too crowded and 3 is a bit feeble.
