Somewhere on Earth is off to Malawi, in southern Africa. This little-known country, overshadowed by its larger neighbors Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia, is also home to an immense lake that covers 20% of its territory. We meet Gaspard with an amazing one-of-a-kind guitar, a marathon runner, Theresa and Freddie the Danish pilot who’s made Malawi his home. Enjoy! Anyone who has ever been to Malawi, please share with us in the comments!
Growing up in Malawi is indeed a really tough and thick ride. Partially, that's affected by the fact that were underdeveloped. But despite our undeveloped state, our people still find a sense of joy, fun and leisure in our rather more natural habitat. If you ever plan on visiting Malawi, please know you're most welcome. Our people are know to be some of the friendliest around, which is partially why we're called "The Warm Heart Of Africa."🇲🇼🥰💓😌 Come to Malawi, and enjoy the beauty of tourists resorts, mountain ranges, game reserves, museums, heritage sites, and the spectacular views of the fresh water Mighty Lake Malawi. 🌊💦💧🤽♀️🤽🤽♂️ Not forgetting our staple meals. 🇲🇼🍲🥗🍚😋😋😋 Come over, and enjoy one of the rarest species of delicious fish, growing only in a fresh water body. 🎣🐟 Travel Malawi. 😌🥰😎💓

I lived for 2.5 years as a child in Ncheu. My dad helped to build the Blantyre to Lilongwe road. I remember the wild flame lilies growing by the road, the friendliness and love. Everyone was so poor but so happy to share and be happy. Malawi is the heart of Africa
I've lived here for 21 years since birth and real rap I only hear that people here are poor. I ain't never been in those kinda circles myself, lemme tell ya something.
I totally agree. Wonderful, informative free documentaries. They are masterpieces in my opinion. We are all so grateful RUclips has these documentaries. THANK YOU THANK YOU.
This is my country i must say we are a beautiful breed of people these places shown in this beautiful piece of work are exactly what we as a country make us the heart of Africa. I myself have traveled alot inside Malawi but every where you go around Malawi is your home literally ur home. What makes malawi special is the people you meet we welcome every soul with a huge heart and a smile because thats what God has managed to bless us with. The warm heart of Africa. We dont take those words for granted 🇲🇼
That's beautiful, Bulldog. Really looking forward to going there some day. A niece of mine - we're both white Americans - once had a chance to teach at a school on the lake and I thought she was crazy for not going!
Beautiful Malawi and it’s people. The tears came watching Gaspard play and see the beautiful smiling faces. Good wishes to Gaspard. I hope Teresa makes it to the Olympics! Best wishes to Teresa and Felix and their child. ❤

The best country in Africa . I loved living in Blantyre most beautiful people. I remember music played all around me frequently and everyone singing and dancing . They were such special times and I miss it so much. And the night is so quiet here no proper night sounds . Lake Malawi is so special and the best fish in the world .
I traveled to Lilongwe from South Africa a week ago and I experienced the love so much and Lake Malawi is so beautiful and definitely going back there again

Africa is beautiful, I'm glad he keeps playing even though his brother passed away... Some people wouldn't be able to do that to know it hurts inside. I'm sure he misses his brother a lot but he kept strong and gotta make a living.
I met a guy Wilson a Malawian in South Africa, a very nice guy. Then I searched some videos on Malawi and found this documentary. Wonderful documentary and nice people of Malawi. Love you all. I am from India visiting South Africa.
I always find it strange for someone to frame a country with that statement - what’s wrong with saying a country with great potential. You’d think they think that’s the country’s identity 😂😂 the European mindset is troubling
Thanks for this episode. What a beautiful country and its sweet and lovely people. A have to say I found the village artist's music very sweet and addictive👌🏾👌🏾. Malawi never gets a fair share of coverage due to its high level of poverty and lack of tourist promotions. God bless its lovely people 🙏🏾🙏🏾
