No one got out and actually walked any of it either, now I know it’s a decent size crossing but even one of the camera guys could have walked back and got a better idea on lines and then jumped in with Torbs to help guide across.

The worst recovery I've seen is in GrizzlynBear overland where their Defender 130 got sunk to the chassis on a frozen river in Mongolia at night. Imagine recovering a vehicle in icy river. If left overnight, water will freeze trapping the frame to ice making recovery impossible until ice melts: No big truck can reach his location.

well,, he could of said,,theres a way around this,,but,,well show you what happens when you dont look for a better track.. 24/7 allways drive the worst tracks for the camera, when theres a road 12 ft away.. watch black bear pass..people die on there..regular..

What an epic trip. Guess as long as the drone is in the air and the cameras are rolling it can't be too dramatic. Of course going around that salt lake would not given us such spectacular views.
