Ronny something i miss from the early vids was the nightlapse shots, star trails above the campsite. You shud bring them back
It was my intention but we got to camp so bloody late and then all the trouble started which you will see in parts 2/3 😳 gets hectic

Hey just watched this we were about 4-5 days behind you on the Madigan line. On your video you closed off with a dark storm forming. We were on Knolls track before we hit the WAA line 200 km south. That storm was epic lightning almost in all directions, we had our swags set for the night. We ended up having to drag all swags sideways ways due to flooding. A few hours later a massive wind storm hit from nowhere and ripped the vehicle awning up. It never rains in the desert? We had rain 1 in 3 days apparently. On the Hay River section we drove through 2km of constant 500mm water, so much water I have never seen that.
That was a good watch. can't wait for next week.

reminds me of a time I cross a whole province in Canada after a september of rain and a october of frost.. mud and ice make it for a fun but stressfull ride. you guys are the real OG overlanders

Then you might or might not have been aware there were also 9 people that walked across the Simpson from dalhousie Springs to Big Red around that time too.
Cowboy hotdogs, bush TV and fermented water. Good times with the boys.

cool video. Been following your channel for a while now.. I just have an old gen 2 Pajero 2.8 TD. Can i make a suggestion please, i am in England, and i am sure many many others are around the world who watch your channel.. Now you said where you were starting, and where you were intending to end up.... trouble is i have noooooo idea where either are, well esp where you started from... the route you were taking and so on. So a short map route as you mentioned would have been good, and then were the stops were and so on. BTW you said this time the surface was good to travel on, (as you had your choc milk) compared to last time you was there....but you didnt say why and what it was like last time..
why does camp food look far better than the stuff you prepare at home lol!
