All the fuel in the world for your bike won’t get you anywhere without enough water for your body. A good reminder how the Outback of Australia should never be underestimated. Another great video Adam. Safe travels👍
These desert run videos are some of my favorites of all your videos. The feeling of remoteness, danger, and adventure are what I enjoy in my own rides. Just this year I was down to half a liter of piss warm water when I finally rolled into camp on an unexpectedly hot day. Makes one appreciate how good life is to just turn on the tap for cool, clean water and a soft bed.
@joefigl in Ireland we say John and Mary.... just typical and common names to describe the "average" Aussie or Paddy slightly older couple... not meant as a slight , or as an insult.. like a term of endearment towards your fellow citizens
You have to pinch yourself ever now and then to remind yourself you're alive when sitting on the sofa with a cuppa watching things like this. Can only guess at the heat and exhaustion. Awesome video ❤ 👏
Great reel, really shows how the Australian outback should not be underestimated, especially on big heavy bikes. The boys made it look easy but remember they are both fit, strong and very good riders. Proper adventure ✅
Damm fine ride Adam… You n Rodney seriously shift… These are hardcore days of riding… Those twisty two tracks and endless deep sand are incredibly demanding.. I can’t believe you run those Km’s and still document the experience to show with us.. Bloody great job, the share is really appreciated .. Congratulations to both of you… damm fine riding
You guys are just animals! Hustling those loaded down adventure bikes all day through that sand and heat must of taken an immense amount of energy and strength. Glad you guys were able to make it out of there in one piece. Cheers!
what can we comment? No comments, just the joy of the ride, the view, the nature and the challenge... The joy is of whom does it!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!
That feeling... do I wait just a bit more or should I go ahead and turn around...? Always a great relief when your mate finally shows up and nothing serious is wrong!
You boys are absolutely mad… and I love it. Rodney looked like he was pretty damn glad to be done with that section, and moving like the few spills he had along the way were felt. Stoked y’all got it done and, safely. Ready for the next part. 🤘
Did that Hay River track on fully loaded fuel & water and camping gear with a wr250 and it is brutal. Let around on the fully loaded adventure bike. Nice vid Adam👌
Thanks for another fantastic video of a great, great ride from the two of You... I envy You, Your great country and fantastic continent ! And now ... The long., long wait for the next episode and the next video from Mr. Riemann... Thanks again !
Those Tenere's sound so damn good!! What a run this episode was. Wondering if Rodney is still having a good time! He looked a little down at the end there. Or that's just the expression everyone has when it's 104F amd you've battled sand all day!! You both are goddam warriors!! 🫡
When you think that these men have risked there lives riding across the out back for us to prove a point which is how brave they are and just how good the Tenera is incredible aye
Haha questioning what you where doing there, exactly the same thoughts were going through my brothers and I's minds when we recently crossed, also in September of this year! 🥵 Great video mate, loving the series!
Marge is shy until the makeup is on and hair in order. If Marge doesn't go her sister will. Bob and Marge are a pair, not only that, a team. Don't get between. They will join forces and turn that mean suppressed energy toward you. Incredible views. Glad you found a water source. At 104F it makes a long hard day when everything goes right. I was a desert dog for a few years. It will test you in ways you can't imagine. Laying on a sand dune with a hot bike on top of you and momentarily no way out will speed the mind into overdrive with warp coming up if you can't get out. Rodney did well. Always wanted a rider's view of the Simpson. All good from East Kentucky USA. Be safe in your endeavors.
I recently broke my foot and rode 500 miles off trail up Paddy mountain in the US. I heard you saying "just get it done" the whole time lol. Keep up the amazing videos mate
"bob's your uncle", marge must be your aunt? Bustards, emus, camels oh my. Just aawesome stuff boys, thanks for taking us along..moto by proxy! That Akro singing kept me watching. Hoist a cold one to ya'll, Cheers!
Remember when that young solo dutch rider had to be rescued in the Simpson ? That's why Adam said 'keep it moving' (if the bike let's you). That dudes 660 tenere had : 1) an overheating problem and therefore 2) he had to stop often to keep filling the radiator and therefore 3) fell often (!) when slowing down in soft sand and therefore 4) got exhausted and 5) used more water for bike and men than what he carried. . ..and then there was 'the opposite', this aussi bloke on a WR 250 who carried the usual amount of water but didn't even need it all because on a light (and powerful enough as well as having good suspension) bike, it was relatively easy work compare to his mates on bigger bikes.
"Forward motion, the nomadic rhythm" 🙌 That was the longest 6 months I've ever had to wait for an episode to drop. And we all know Adam needed a rest and some time with his family, and prolly another adventure squeezed in there. But yeah, that was a long 6 months.....sorry, I mean 2 weeks.....🤣
A lot of us can relate to heat and sand, but I'm sure that almost none of us have endured anything close to what this section just handed to you and Rodney. Glad that everything worked out. Well done. (pun intended)
Great episode Adam thanks for the journey across the Simpson That looked tough not that you guys showed it and at 40deg Always lessons to learn thanks for sharing Rod man of few words but gets on with it what a champion Looking forward to the next episode Hope you had some good holidays with the family Thanks Dave
Hi Adam and Rodney man, that’s some tough riding. Absolutely beautiful country but also deadly at the same time. Imagine being out there by yourself and something goes seriously wrong anyway guys I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work , Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 I’m on the big island 🏝️
Would love to see a full in-depth video of your gear and luggage set-up. I know you’ve done a video in the past but more details of the specs and brands would be interesting.
the landscape is just stunning, what a great ride! loved to watch it. Nite so see how the WR moves. Did you know there is a dongle to plug in to get read of the ABS off thing?
I need some of this shit. Harsh hostile beautiful environment that brings back the human instinct to survive. Much better than the shit iam living through right now in the UK. Brilliant video and trip Adam👍
Why not set out at dawn, take a break for lunch to beat the heat and wait for the cool of the evening. Then get back in the saddle and ride until it's completely dark?
I've got over 1,000 hours in the outback desert saddle and in 2011 spent 18 hours in 40C+ without water until a car came because of no contingency plan for water after bursting a bladder in a shredded tyre off. What I didn't realise with dehydration was it could also lead to diarrhea as your body shuts down.. hence why I had a crack at you about water way back when you sorted your light ADV setup... water is life, I now know many ways to get survival water in the desert but I will not travel without multiple water containment / filtering options carrying waaaay more water than I need plus I carry a UHF... there's a sense of pride that comes with not pressing the 'rescue me button' and that pride can mean death as many an outback tragedy has shown... therefore above anything else plan for water water & more water!!!
Love to know about the comms you're running? Seems to be to get a perfect ADV set up you have got to have cables and bluetooth connections everywhere..... Love the production....also, go easy on Bob...I'm one, but I also ride 😉👍🏼🍻
Same...I found my heart rate up watching the terrain and realising the temperature while imagining it was me behind the bars...bloody hard work with no time to rest, no shelter, no shade...nowhere to cool down.
Mate, you're an inspiration to us all. Heading out to a south african🇿🇦 desert trip in a month. What is the stuff you put on your chain every morning before the day's ride?
Those donkeys almost sound as good as the Africa Twins. I had to make sure to keep quiet during those quiet spells because you were obviously trying to concentrate on getting the job done!
will be amazing to have a vid on how and what u carry for video/drone footage... i got my drone in my backpack always and camera on tank bag. all comments welcome. cheers buddy

Rodney is a man of few words just getting it done. What an adventure.
Damn….it never gets old to hear the ole “Bob and Marge” commentary
Yeah hits home, some times I'm in the bob and marge camp, others in the lone biker camp.
pls, can you explain an European why you call them Bob and Marge?
@joefigl in Ireland we say John and Mary.... just typical and common names to describe the "average" Aussie or Paddy slightly older couple... not meant as a slight , or as an insult.. like a term of endearment towards your fellow citizens
Better than anything you'll see on TV. Motology Films.
Your narration is right up there with David Attenborough, but with an obviously different style. What a delight. So glad to be a subscriber.
Your sense of humor is one of a kind. Keep being awesome.
Love the "ABS Off" reminder written on the windshield! :)
Awesome video! The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me. Best!
It's just the Australian way
It's the way of backcountry travelers everywhere, at least those from civilized stock ... 😉 😄
You have to pinch yourself ever now and then to remind yourself you're alive when sitting on the sofa with a cuppa watching things like this. Can only guess at the heat and exhaustion. Awesome video ❤ 👏
Absolutely remarkable scenery, riding and brotherly bonding. I love it and thank you.
That Bob and Marge analysis was a delight 😅
Amazing, thrilling and bloody scary all at the same time. Rippa mate.
Great reel, really shows how the Australian outback should not be underestimated, especially on big heavy bikes. The boys made it look easy but remember they are both fit, strong and very good riders. Proper adventure ✅

You two have seriously BIG balls to go out there !! Not for me. Very impressed with your abilities. Thanks for sharing.
Yes every vid you produce is top shelf absolutely awesome thank you 👌
Good banta young fella epic journey . Rodney is solid gold just "gets it done".
I’ve been riding various bikes my whole life , but I’m in awe watching both of you and the level of skill you display. Absolutely awesome.👍
what can we comment? No comments, just the joy of the ride, the view, the nature and the challenge...

Very inspiring to watch❤ Love the quality of your videos! Thank you for taking us along 🙏🏻
Just getting it done 👌🏼the exhaust bark of the Tenere though 💥📣😎
If I wasn't convinced about getting myself a T7 World Raid before, I certainly am now. Keep inspiring!
Its good that you show how tough it is out there to prevent the inexperienced trying to do that ride. Good stuff!
You boys are absolutely mad… and I love it. Rodney looked like he was pretty damn glad to be done with that section, and moving like the few spills he had along the way were felt. Stoked y’all got it done and, safely. Ready for the next part. 🤘
Lovin' the bob and Marge jokes.
Been looking forward to this next chapter.
It sure gets hard when the sand is hot.
Looking forward to the next episode
@@joshuasarfati5520 T7’s are no joke in the sand. Even with perfect tyre choice. These guys go hard
You both are legends!!!! My god you guys ride at an intense pace! I always get nervous pushing it that hard in unknown territory. 🙇🏻♂️
It’s like diving. Never loose sight of your buddy.
Great video again.
Magnificent video! Great adventure! Fantastic humour!

Epic guys! Wow, that's a hell of a day! All the best from Canada....
Incredible scenery, really great location for moto sport. Enjoyed the film obstacle challenge and survival element.
You two brave and bulletproof men. Be careful mates. Cheers 💪👍🙏🖖
Insane riding! 🤟 What a country! ❤️
we need more Bob´s and Marge´s in this world , I recon cheers Adam, was looking forward to this video, cant wait for the rest :)

And yet you wouldn't be anywhere else aye! 👍
@@ianthepelican2709 exactly right mate, already miss being out there
Epic lads, I was tired just watching the twists and turns in deep sand go on forever .... and in that heat - brutal but great to watch.
That sand was working those bikes a bit. Great video as always!
Amazing awesome video, thank you, sir.

Adam, we need Bob and Marj Tee Shirts !! I'd love to be walking around here in Japan with a Bob and Marj Tee Shirt mate 😅
All of this^^^ I’d gladly wear them here in the states.
