dont read this thread just go get the game! there is actually a couple flashes of act 2 and 3 in the "Reveal Trailer" and there's a brief moment in the "Out now on PC" trailer that shows some moments of act 2 and 3
Not only is it the best game I've played this year (by a long way), it's also one of the best games I've played in my entire life. The level of creativity is just mind blowing, puts other games to shame.
My PERSONAL review of this good game: (Spoiler warning) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1)"S4t4n is sp00py but I d0n't kn0w wHy" is a mainstream, edgy, childish and bland concept for a game. 2) I hate looking for answers out of a game, I want to find my answers WITHIN the game's plot and events. 3) Mullins, I love your cardgame really much, but your plot writing skylls have to git gud :) 7,75/10
@@inceptional I think vr would make most people nauseous. It's bad enough for me on a computer screen. If they changed the movement of the camera to be fluid you'd be spot on though.
The only con I have to say that Inscription has is that it’s so good I wish there was more like If we got turns with the two other Scribes like we did with P03 and Leshy!
Most people hate mox, and I think the bones were explored well enough throughout act 1 and 2, so I understand why there isn't more of them. But man I really really wanted that pirate fight with Grimora :(
@@DurianFruit maybe instead we’d do something thematic to them, rather than simply having more arcs? Like for example, Grimnora might allow you to add a sigil to your card from something that she’d used and killed, and Magnificus would allow you to replace a sigil on a card of your choice, similar to what he does in his act 2 fight, but with a greater degree of control?
I'm proud to have experienced this game beginning to end and if there is ever any further exploration of this I'd gladly throw myself back into this universe
Felt so sad when I finish this game there is nothing truly like this out there. Such an amazing experience! I wish I could forget the game and play again on my first time!

For anyone reading this, if you're fond of deck building, roguelites, or just any good game, just buy this and experience this blind. It's really good

I wish they continued with act 1 and introduce new bosses. Like new maps and new cards. It doesn't feel like a dungeon crawler anymore. I bought this game thinking it would be like Slay the Spire. Act 2's gameplay and art style change so drastically that it is super jarring and off-putting to continue. Idk I wish they focus more on Act 1 and to do some rebalancing on the cards. Act 1 is when I had the most fun and the reason why I bought it. I'm thinking of just restarting the game to only play act 1 :/ I'm afraid I can only play few more hours until it gets stale. So a refund is the only option.
I do have to say that I was kinda dissapointed by how predictable the story was *within* the "Chapters". I expect a bit more considering the same dev also made Pony Island. Not saying that it's bad, but you should keep this in mind if you want to buy the game now.
You gotta respect how all of the promo material doesn’t have spoilers for the rest of the game
It shows you legit the first part which isn’t really too spoiling and then ignores the rest of the game which I say is a great job
