- ET exclusively confirmed that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn called it quits a few weeks ago. Now, some fans think the GRAMMY winner may have hinted at their breakup in her ‘Eras’ tour setlist.

Whether this is true or not. It's really nobody's business to be so deeply invested in someone's personal life. She's a great singer/songwriter/business woman to US(the general public which is her professional life) plus she has been nothing but kind and lovable. actually arlington night ONE was where she switched up the setlist for the first time where she sand sad beautiful tragic (yes a sad song) and ours (a love song which is about keeping a love yours despite what people say). arlingtone night TWO was the once with dbatc and clean. this video was just reaching. that wasnt "evidence" to the breakup. plus obviously many of her songs are breakup songs which is why she does many as surprise songs. also arlington night THREE didnt have any breakup sings as surprise songs.

The fact that Swifties are still in denial after Tree has failed to retract the rumors AFTER TWO DAYS is crazy...they broke up, just like with her other breakups, you won't get a direct confirmation. Please quit living in delusion.
It makes a ton of sense that people are a little suspicious because so many of these articles have surfaced on the internet throughout the years, and they don't turn out to be true. Engagement, pregnancy, marriage. Tree doesn't normally address false rumours anyway and neither does Taylor. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't be getting angry at people for not blindly believing something, or even being a little bit in shock. If the rumours are true, I hope Joe and Taylor are both doing okay.
@@recreatio This news didn't come from just any tabloid. They came from ET and People, whom Tree uses to pass public info. If it isn't on People, then it isn't true, and People confirmed it. CNN also confirmed it. The pregnancy/engagement and other rumors came from tabloids such as Daily Mail and gossip sites such as Deux Moi...this came from reputable outlets that are known to have a strong PR relationship with Tree, and wouldn't risk their relationship with one of the most powerful celebs in the world. It's a symbiotic relationship. Also, Tree is quick to respond with serious shit like this, for example when Swifties thought Taylor was a victim of domestic assault during the evermore era. The Jimmy Kimmel video in question was edited immediately. All I'm saying is folks are doing this weird mental gymnastics and forming fantasies and denying that it's over when it's blatantly obvious it is. Plus the stuff about him not showing up on tour because he's filming well, Emma Stone has a much bigger role in the same film and she showed up. Yeah, it's over.

ET might of confirmed the breakup but Joe and taylor haven't. We just need to be respectful and calm. If it's true it wasn't dramatic and it would be been nice. Taylor has gone through this multiple times, some Swifties need to learn that it's not their business until someone apart of it says it is. Joe is filming a movie in UK, taylor is in tour in the US, that's why we can't jump to "he wasn't there not together." someone spotted him at 1 show, he can't be at every show cos there's like 35+ tour dates. I personally don't believe until someone in the relationship confirms, (Andrea, Joe and ofc taylor). we just gotta wait. The funny and whacked thing out of this is that ET was the one who said in this video that they’re “going strong” and now ET was one of the firsts to say they’ve broken up, supposedly “a few weeks ago”.
Coming from my boyfriend's point of view, he thinks Taylor broke it off due to her career priorities. It kinda makes sense since she is a megastar handling a full run tour and she is almost always working.
I was shocked about this split, but hoping they both find peace in their separate ways.

Taylor has said many times she broke up with wonderful guys because she wanted to be an international star and she also said it is her for guys to deal with her notarituy and no privacy. She also said she dated not good guys but with some of the bad guys she kept going back with them-wrong, wrong until the guys ended it for good. That was on her but maybe after 6 years it was time for Taylor and Joe to split. Frankly I know couples who split up having kids and the wife was poor and was not rich so being this is an amicable break up if it really is, they are in good shape and can remain friends.

Im swiftie but Not a fan of Joe for years, I think she must find a man from her country to make it work between them, intelligent and gentle. She is beautiful, creative, and still young, I'm sure the next one will be the right one to start a family.

I haven’t really paid too much attention with their relationship, but If it’s been 6 years and there’s no proposal yet, the outlook doesn’t look too good. Her famous peers like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are already both married with kids . And some of her exes like Taylor L and Joe J are now both married (Joe J already has 2 kids). I can see her wanting to get married and want to be a mom someday.
Joe Alwyn would not commit to Taylor. Taylor was more into him than he was into her. She realized it and realized she was not going to be happy with him not wanting to be public with her. That lyric from Lavender Haze was supposed to be about the media repeatedly intruding into their relationship and trying to rush them, it didn't mean that she wasn't in love with him anymore. We don’t know what happened between them so it's not right to form an opinion on it, both of them are probably hurting enough while going through something like that. On top of that, to start gaining hate from outsiders just because they feel the need to intrude into something that was kept private and personal in the first place is just plain horrible. I am kind of devasted and sad for the both of them because they seemed so happy together, but in the end, it's really none of our business. They're adults and can sort things out.
