Good score on that TOMY I remember when they came out a rare competition buggy made by a traditional Japanese toy company that was not known for high end RC. It's not boasting to be proud of what you have especially when you've worked for it. Great video Keith
Both nice pick ups. I just wish that Associated would do a big run of garden variety nothing special RC10's for us plebs to buy. It's be nice to have a new one. Actually I have to get around to putting the decals on mine, it's a restored Frankenstein of a thing. But it works.
I feel that having the RC10 40th in a limited run and with the distribution limit was very disappointing from Team Associated. Barely got any overseas here in Australia and they were all sold out, with many who didn't get their preorders fulfilled, like me. It also means that all these become shelf-queens for collectors and will never get run in the way this hobby intended. It's just a very expensive model kit like the CC. I say the collectors can keep their mint numbered 40th Eds and CCs. I'd happily buy un-numbered variant of these that aren't export limited so I can run it and maybe even find spare parts as needed.
i have never even heard of Tomy total noob on these cars. Don't apologize for being excited its not boastful you can have show and tell with out telling. That Intruder is sexy love the box art.. Thanks for sharing another coffee with Keith successful. And I love your unboxings these are cars I will probably never see so your expense are appreciated.. Thanks You!
The Tomy is a cool find, and the upgrade shocks for the truck, I guess you’ll fit them. If you fancy a higher chassis number I’ll swap you my number 5608 😂
😮 you lucky dog, the EX is the car i want the most, a nib one would be the ultimate, hopefully i find i good one to run one day. I have an intruder thats a runner, and im the same as you, dying to find the slipper, im hoping someone does a layshaft with slipper sometime soon, really want to drive it anger again 😁
Keith, I have an important question, what is more rare the gold pan, meaning vintage gold pan, black pan complete, the black pan that didn’t have the front bulkhead and has the two aluminum tubes that hold the front end together and I’ve seen some have black and gold mixture or a black pan with a black front end and the aluminum tubes that hold the front bulkhead assembly together where you mount the A-arms . I have an RC 10 in a box. I picked it up at a tag sale. I’m not very familiar with the RC. It has a very strange looking gearbox. It also is completely black on the bottom from tail to the front bumper and all of the arms are black. I was hoping there’s some value in this addition. The one I have has a wonderful B and R MAGNUM 540 motor.
I am honestly not familiar with all the original variants although I can tell you that any original rc10 nib is worth a pile of money. My worlds car which is black chassis was well over a grand. If you email me, I can probably answer better with pics.
I dont think I have ever heard you boast. I for one would never get to see any of these rare cars or even know of there existence if you weren't to share your collection. I may even get to see the odd one on your track
You say you don't want to come off as a jerk, but by wanting the rc10 even more rare as it is you definetly do. This is an attitude that these "look I got something you don't have" man-childs have. Terrible attitude to have! People are already struggling to get one but you want it to be even more rare so that you have something even more special. Your home is filled to the brim with überrare kits but that's apparently not enough. I usually don't talk like this and am happy for every person, but that was not a good look.
I appreciate your comment. I honestly can see exactly what you are saying. I honestly think that Associated will do a regular, non numbered run of both the 10 and 10t. Hopefully it does happen so that everybody who wants one will get on. My apologies for being a jerk.
I never even knew what the box looked like, the Intruder is so cool...wish there were more out there. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Erick
Yes, they are hard to find and parts are even harder. Makes you think twice about running them hard.
That’s one heck of a find Keith! Will be slick next to the AYK Boost! You would definitely make a display of that one time!
Looking forward to having them all out.

Appreciate the comment. It is hard because I want to share what I find although I do not want to come across as an ass.
two great kits, one new and one old! For such a rare car I am surprised there are any left in box! Great find and great additions to the collection!
Thanks Addam
Ah the Intruder, and the EX version. One of the finest looking vintage cars ever made 🤌
Totally agree. Thank you
Awesome kits and congrats you'll get one👍
Thanks Dirk
Super cool find Keith! Keep these unboxing videos coming!

There are 4 or 5 more coming. Lol
This is awesome! Your unboxing video's are great Keith, and it never comes across as boasting. It's great to see such rare n.i b. kits.

I think we will see both the 10 and 10t as a non anniversary kit before the year is over tbh.
Great find on the nib!!!
Thanks Dennis
Incredible find 😮 You seem to attract them 🤔😅 🤝
lol
Love them all
Cool kits, cool video.

Thanks Jonas

I honestly think they will do a normal rere run of both the 10 and 10t very soon. They would be crazy not to.
Great video
Thank you
Excellent channel. Keep up the good work. I love it!
Thank you and appreciate the kind words.

Fine with what I have.

May have to get Wade on board. He could pull it off.
@@rcicons4915 if he can i would deffo be interested 👍
I still have my RC10CE from back in the day in good condition so I have no interest in the rere. Nice find on the Tomy Intruder.
That is awesome. The CE is the only original gold pan I own.
Really cool.
Thank you
What is the highest number kit people have seen?
I have 5608
I have seen 6000’s. I am sure they will do the limit.
Wowsers Keith 👏 how do you find these 😁 great kits well done you 👍
Buyee!
Lol

Sorry Keith, I should have just bought those wheels for you 🙈
You didn’t know buddy. Another set will come up some day. Or, I will find someone to make them.
Wow. What a find 😎👍👌
Come on then Keith how much did you pay?!
Well under $1,000
@@rcicons4915 another Buyeeeee bargain 👌 💯
seem them before new in box but not recently, maybee 2 years ago but going for crazy money offcourse.
I can imagine. I thought this one would be them same.
From what I’ve seen they only made 5k of the 40th rc10 not 9999
I dont think I have ever heard you boast. I for one would never get to see any of these rare cars or even know of there existence if you weren't to share your collection. I may even get to see the odd one on your track
Glad to hear that. Honestly just try to share what I am doing in the hobby.
My seals i could remove.. mine is number 75
Nice! Great low number
