timing couldnt be better i was just looking for a review on this because im thinking of getting into barebow competitively and was leaning towards this think im pretty well decided now i just need to figure out limbs
It would be nice to see a comparison review of the less expensive G2 model in stock form with the stock grip and no added weight. John Demmer uses a G1 and he is one of the top Barebow shooters in the world. What weight is used on it during this video?
I just bought a GT Lux --- its a heavy riser for sure which means I'm not putting weights on it right now. I also managed to destroy the holes for the sights by accident ---> oops. Had to get them re-tooled on day one. Apparently they are rather sensitive. It does look beautiful though and I can always switch to doing barebow with it later.
Have this set up the same way he does with the upgraded handle and proprietary front weight. Beiter plunger, tradtech blackmax 2.0 limbs at 55#. This bow is extremely stable and shockingly quiet. It feels very expensive. It's worth it... truly...
how much weight was used for the barebow weight kit? I can't seem to find the one that you were using in the video. I know its a long shot for asking because the video is so old but im trying to get into barebow and just bought this riser second hand.
hi there, great review! May I ask if you have to choose between this Gillo G1 and the Mybo Elite for barebow set up, which one would you choose? And if you have time please do give us a quick explanation as of why. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Happy Thanksgiving!
Can you remember precisely which weight you had on there. Is it the aluminium (400g)? Or is the the brass electroplated in black (800g)? Thanks Sensei!
I have this exact one and it shoots amazing. Still i have so many bows and o like shooting my satori and bodnik mohawk so much that i almost never shoot it. Ill shoot it again this week. Thanx for the revieuw!
Do you guys think its worth buying the Gillo G1L over the Gillo G1? For ~100€ more you get this wooden grip, small design changes and golden coloured screws...
Hey NUSensei, I'm Form Germany, so sorry for my Bad English ;-) I have bought the Gillo G1, two month ago and i have some big problemes with it. It is verry verry loud and the vibrations are verry heavy. I'm using even the same risers like you did even in 28lbs. Every screws are getting loose during my Training and this ist verry irritating:-( So could you give me some tips for the Bow setup like tiller, brace high etc??? Or how can I erase this bad vibrations? Thank you verry much and best regards Thomas
Adjust your brace height to begin with. The bow will quiet down when you find its sweet spot brace height for your body, as for vibration, this will also be affected by brace height along with adding a few dampeners such as some stick on ones on the limbs.
Hey, Thank you. Yes I did all these things. I even had contact with the Company in Italy but nobody could solve the Problems. I also send them a video, so that they can hear ugly noises....after that I have never get any response from them :-(

Great review. Why do you not use a wire rest?
Hi, I hope you are willing to make a review video for the newcomer riser Spigarelli Zen
The sound is........melodic, harmonious. It sound as if it’s “right” and in tune with the universe.

Please review/compare the lower priced Gillo G2
I'd like to see a review of the G2 as well. I'm still deciding between it and the SF forged plus.
My bow!!! Absolutely amazing
This is my bow as well, i think it is great but now I am feeling traditional wood more and more. I might flip mine to get some old school.

Literally same situation. If I find one I’ll link you
@@patrickmcnichols8346 I found it btw the images online dont look like what the product actually is.(plz dont del this one o,e)
@@patrickmcnichols8346 oh i forgot to say which one my bad, It seems to be the aluminum barebow weight as mine seems to move similar on release.
Will you experiment this riser in target recurve configuration?
what extra weight do you use with that riser , sensei ... ? 400 gram ? 🙏
Any chance you could do a review of Uukha limbs? Particularly the lower end models like the Ex1 or XO? Keep up the great work!
I've actually ordered a set.

I like the lack of noise the bow makes :)

Very Nice review - Perfect riser

Start with even tiller, and play with the brace height.
