I met michele frangilli last saturday 26th of november at an indoor competition in his gym near Milan. Nicest person ever. I booked him for a one-to-one training next may
Nice presentation. Can you put on some limbs, and demonstrate the adjustment of the "floating pockets"- measure draw weight at minimum and maximum settings. Also can you shoot it and alternate between a gillo GQ or a G1L and the GT.
great review ! I'm planning on buying this riser . the only thing I'm hesitant about are the rubbers how long will they last. will the the bow setup change when the rubbersstart to deterierate will I have to buy ever sometimes new rubbers and will these rubbers stille be available after some years .can you explain something about this ? for the rest great riser !! thanx 😊
I really love the idea of those ufo mounts. Coupled with a 26 long rod it'd make a great outdoor setup i reckon. Especially since they have tungsten weights aswell now for their rods.
This video sold me the riser. I suspect the less durable feature would be the rubber that only job seems to keep some protection to the limb bolt SS thread. Is it or will there be replacement rubbers for sale?
This is a really cool innovation and I love Gillo for barebow shooting. But... I don't think the rubber bushing is going to be durable. I think I'd be replacing the rubber every so often and that's kind of a deal breaker.
@@TheSimhon Michele shoots it with the ufo mounts this year in lancaster and finished 2nd. Absolutely gorgeous setup. If you don't need the pockets i'd definatly get the G1 though. For barebow i'd say GT all the way. It add's this slight dampening effect and there's zero handshock on mine. For oly rec i'm looking into buying a G1 rather then get a second GT. Although i'll be getting all the attackments and everything first just to try it out.
this will cut limb sales by half. no wonder why hoyet or win&win could not do this: they also produce verry expensive quality linbs while gillo does not
If the only difference between lengths is the pocket, and the pocket has the same, or very similar production cost, why is there such a large price difference (£100) between lengths?

This is one of the greatest innovation ever for Recurve Archery..... awesome... i love the innovation
Thanks John! Always look forward to your reviews!

It's nice that they improved the grip.
Thanks, John - Excellent presentation - looks like a great new riser! (and thanks to Vittorio for developing and offering it!)
Thanks John, brilliant presentation. Its on my list to get for this outdoor season.

i made some myself quite cheap in fact
this is going to be an excellent bare bow setup.
I bought this riser but it did not come with the set screws. Is this a common thing?
Hmm... Why not a hex key lock nut behind the tiller bolt? Brass set screw does not look like a good idea.
That was an excellent description of an amazing product

I've got maybe 5K arrows through my riser in the last year, and zero signs of wear at the bushing. LOVE my Gillo GT - my favorite bow.
@@Jabba954 hey. I have a quick question. I am looking for a Olympic recurve riser. Can I get the Gillo GT? Thanks for your time.

I'm more worried about how the tiller lock works.
Any word on when this riser will be available?
Because it's currently "out of stock"
more like not yet in stock
can you review border tempest vs gillo GT?
Samick ultra R riser how much?
Taking notes 📝
Absolutely fantastic design 😁👍
Looks like a hybrid between recurve and compound riser.

Compound pocket design :D.
Very interesting design.
Well presented.
A 15 or 17 would be nice for hunting think with all that adjustment thinks good job John

at LAS it costs- GT 25" $600, 27" $650, 29" $800. The big difference is between the 27" and the 29" ???
@@robertorios3135 5 months late but maybe less people buy 29" = more expensive manufacturing?
You said you can trust the brass set screw. I've been hurt by set screws before, how can I ever learn to trust again?
The brass set screws are to lock the Stainless Steel limbs bolts without dbìging their thread, no other mechanical function
@@vittoriofrangilli4939 dbiging ?
@@vittoriofrangilli4939 Why is it not like any other tiller set screw that you lock from behind?
Woo..29 "? .. 😅..25" riser is long enough for me..cannot imagine a 29 "riser with limb, maybe as tall as the wrestler wwf...😅😂.
Getting closer to a compound everyday. Ugly too
