How did you spot fake one? I am thinking on buying from aliepxress too from Titan West Electric Bike Store seems to be 314€ for 48V17,5Ah or 702€ for whole bafang converting kit
I was hoping you would show how the wires are connected to the battery....I gave a robot vacuum, they make the packs, but none ,for the connecting end on mine
Ive got a large ebike battery in a similar style of case which i can hear the pack move around inside case over bumps, also hear it if i remove the pack from bike and turn it upside down or certain angles side to side. Am i able to open the case and pad it out? Not only is the noise annoying but im paranoid its going to eventually wear or damage something, causing a short etc... Its not a huge anount of movement, but its enough. I need to replace the lock in the pack anyway. Thanks
I had my ebay hailong battery for 3 years put 725 miles on it then yesterday the power switch on the battery stops working and when i charge it the light on the charger switches between red and green it also smells kinda like a phone battery thats been smashed with a hammer I'm storing it in a safe place outside and I don't trust it anymore
I have a bad circuit board or female 5.5mm barrel style input port. It literally sparked when I plugged in the ac adapter. The battery has no fuses. The battery will not accept the charge says green. I can charge directly on the terminals when I took it apart so the cells are good. Any idea where to get the battery charge controller circuit board? Hiya quite possible just need a new generic BMS. You HAVE to check the cells are all in balance though, each group needs checking for equal voltage. If all ok Then you can just replace BMS and off you go (provided no smart functionality)
But you have to check each cell group individually to make sure! AliExpress/eBay would be easiest I suppose 👍 if you're in the UK they're on my website :)
Sadly, mine will be here in a day or two, wish I saw this a few days ago. I will be looking inside mine as well. Mine is supposed to be 21700 panisonic cells, so having a bit of knowledge about this stuff, I will investigate and if they are not, a full refund will be requested, as well as false advertising claim filed against this seller and Ebay.
I also got one like this; rated as 20AH but feels like 12 to 15 for 200 USD in 2021. Another problem is the power switch on mine do nothing; it's always on and the USB port has power but shutdown after a few second of power draw. Don't buy from unknown store.

@@EbikeRepairs My battery has a sticker that says 100 Ah, but I obviously know it's wrong. On full throttle I get maybe 10km of range. It was only 50€ including the charger and shipping, so I can't complain.
at first it depends if it's 18650 or 21700 cells... and say we use the bigger 21700 cells there are 4 , 4.2, 4.5 or 5 Ah cells higher capacity often has lower discharge current so some home-brewer swear on the 4.2 or 4.5 Ah cells I have 5 Ah cells but 10 in parallel so cell current is lower and I can safely use the 5 Ah cells

Maybe there are more minutes in a Chinese amp hour because it's a big county?
This is possibly one of the best comments I've ever seen, thankyou.
Just a simple translation error. Am I right ;) For me, the blue wrap is always a dead give away. Why hide the cells if not intentionally?
Big cheating country
Where would you recommend getting batteries from? Mines not holding power as good as it used too.
Reputable supplier! Yose power/Bmsbattery/greenbikekit are known. Or a battery builder local to you.
Yes Yose Power selsl the originals.
Good for exposing them👍👍
Thanks dude 👍
Some on sale on Ebay now purporting to be 50ah and even 60ah from a case that size, ha ha.
Seems legit 🤣

I have a capacity tester, I did a video about it on the channel if you search :)

I would not use anything sharp on a lipo battery unless you want to see fireworks.
Unfortunately I can't open it another way - just be very careful and have a bucket of sand/large outdoor area available if needed.

my bike had a 25 Ah also and now I have 50 Ah and lower voltage sag under load plus lower current per cell.. means lower wear/aging of the cells and about 2 miles per hour topspeed gained

packs max charge current is 5A (in sum 10) but to keep the stress a bit lower I set my charger to 8 A and not to 10... all works fine now for about 1000 miles
