    I brought a model S used. The old man who ran the small used car lot told me the Model S has been sitting on his lot for 9 months and only 3 people looked at it, that includes me. He said, "I'll sell it to you for 9 grand. Please just get it the hell off my lot!" This was 4 weeks ago. Yesterday i watched a documentary film on EV production and saw those children working in the hazardous and toxic conditions of the cobalt mines in the Congo. It dropped my jaw. I got rid of my model S today. Sold it to some woman for 13 thousand dollars. When she asked me why i was getting rid of it, i told her about the awful child labor in the Congo. She has no concerns or care. Im back to driving my jaguar XJl. Love the 570 miles of range.

    Meanwhile, in actual reality, Cox auto just reported that overall ICE sales are slightly down YoY and EV sales are Up over 11% in the US. The EV market share went up from 7% to 8% t last month. This is reality. As this trend continues, EV market share will by double digits by the End of 2024. By 2026 EV share will be 20%. And this doesn’t;t even include the cheap Chinese cars ready to invade the US market and overwhelm American carmakers who have been dialing back their own EV plans. The American anti-EV car consumer is dooming American carmakers. Fact.

    I have watched many of your RUclips presentations specifically those which express negative concerns about EVs. I imagined this would be the case given your organization's name which clearly indicates a bias against EVs. Of course, you are entitled to your onions but you are not entitled to your own facts. "Everyone's Backing Out" is an untrue statement irrespective of any stats you can produce.
    Everyone dies is a safe statement because it is a established fact. "everybody is backing out" with respect to EVs is not true and can be refuted by including all of the data regarding EV purchases and leasing. Has there been a slowing of adoption, yes, but given the vast investments by car manufacturers including those that produce ICE products suggest that there is an anticipated upturn at some point in the not too distant future. You can be pro ICE and anti EV but don't let your bias influence your integrity.

    Not until we invent FAR superior batteries to what we have now. It will need to have a minimum 350 mile real actual range and fully recharge in less than 30 minutes. It also must be able to be recharged thousands of times, not hundreds. Recharging stations must be nearly as common as gas stations are now. Anything less is a no go. Period.

      @brendanhay559 16 дней назад +1

      "It will need to have a minimum 350 mile real actual range and fully recharge in less than 30 minutes" - this is pretty close to the norm now. Battery degradation of less than 10% in 100,000 miles for the older types, newer batteries about half of that. Maybe we aren't quite where we want to be, but we are close and getting closer all the time.

    • @claycassin8437
      @claycassin8437 16 дней назад

      @@brendanhay559 No, it is not. A claimed 350 mile range is not real at all, even though they claim it. Real world is maybe 230 to 280 miles. Their claim is purely best case scenario on a track with minimal weight in ideal weather, and even more importantly, temperature conditions. Combustion engine cars are far, far less sensitive to those variables...especially below 32 degrees(0 degrees celsius). Full 100 percent recharge in thirty minutes? Get out of here. Come on, man, as our feeble supposed president would say.

      @carlsmith5545 17 дней назад

      Unfortunately, the real truth is when it comes to the environment, every person alive on the planet can drive an EV and it still wouldn't even scratch the surface. EV production along with lithium and cobalt mining industries put out more carbons than the production of regular cars especially in Battery production. Also for you knowledge, Mining of Cobalt is linked to grave human rights abuses, including the exposure of miners to very unsafe worksites and the reliance on child and forced Congolese labor as well as environmental degradation. Lithium and Cobalt mining is not only subjecting these children to a very dangerous and toxic conditions but they are also destroying the planet. All this so you can have an EV that provides you with nothing more than long charging times for a short and shitty range. I gave up my model S that i just brought 4 weeks ago after seeing a documentary on the treatment of these kids. But i kept my jaguar XJL which provides me with 3 minutes of fueling and for a range of 570 miles. You can keep your EV and for all those children who are suffering in the Congo cobalt mines , i hope you atleast appreciate the hell they go through so you can own, drive and boast crap. Yes the American people are not only stupid but blind, ignorant and heartless.....
