- HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON MOVING EXPENSES | Today, I’m showing you guys how to move your stuff long distance for dirt cheap. If you’re stuck in an area with few job opportunities that will propel your career forward, you should know it’s time to move. But moving can be expensive, especially cross country.
A lot of my friends want to move but can’t due to the initial hurdle of affording the move in the first place. It’s like having to take one step back just to move two steps forward.

Best place to get boxes is at a groceries stores or Walmart ... during the evening around 9 or 10 pm ... ask employees on the floor stocking ..explain to them you're moving and most of the time they will give you free boxes. .. :)

Hey! I work at McDonald’s and we throw out lots of boxes everyday! I helped my family move by bringing lots of boxes home from work everyday. We literally just throw them away and while it may take some guts to ask for them, it doesn’t hurt to ask to if there are any ones you can have. Fry boxes and nugget boxes are especially sturdy because they are meant to hold around 40 pounds of weight.
We get meds and other supplies in bubble mailers. We started saving them well before our move and were able ton just drop our fragile into a mailer and tuck or tape the top.
More and more, I am becoming somewhat of a minimalist, it makes life so much easier. Besides, it ties to money and assets also, as you have a lot more money if you are not obsessed with more and more materials. Too many people get old with a house swamped full with junk and are not able to take care of it. It's not worth it. Great video!

Hey, I don't know if you remember me but a month or so back I made a comment about how much your videos have helped me, and given me hope for the future. Since then I've saved up nearly $2,000 with your advice, and will be working on building a credit history next! I'm also going to be getting my tax return back and will be putting a little of it into my emergency savings and then the rest will be used to finally open up a Roth IRA. I'm sure I've already said this but because of you and Stephen Graham I've gone from being hopeless and terrified I'd eventually end up homeless again to planning for a future I never thought I'd have or even live long enough to see. Just wanted to check in and tell you thank you so much for what you're giving to the world.
