Drum cam footage of TesseracT's song 'Smile'. Recorded live at Stage AE, Pittsburgh, PA on 11th July 2017.
This audio mix is near enough what I hear on stage in my in-ear mix (minus the metronome.)
I'd like to make special thanks to the following companies:

Thie video was shot using a Canon 6D, GoPro Hero 3 and 4 cameras and Nikon D500.

Was definitely a game changing show for me. Went into this just knowing a few Tesseract songs to being a huge fan. Definitely an inspiration musically in so many ways.
Jay Postones is such an incredible drummer! I got to spend the whole night with him a few years ago. My mates and I got him so drunk! Lol!

Saw them in Denver with Ashe and it was the same. It’s both the fans and the band. It’s intelligent well crafted music and those of us who appreciate it would rather stand and listen and experience it than run around or jump up and down. Nothing against those that do. But the majority would rather stand and listen. Looking forward to the new album

Saw you guys when you came to OKC a few weekends ago, incredible! It started to rain and it seemed to hit almost perfectly with the music at around 2:06 too, which was wicked.

The crowd, how I hate the crowd on metal concerts these days... "back in my time" on songs like this one, we use to bang our head till we get a broken neck
Fuck yeah man. I've seen Dimmu Borgir few days ago. I'm 44 this year and around me lots of youngsters. I manage to get to the barrier as the crowd is dead. I start banging like a maniac and see with the corner of my eye, that two guys next to me try to record the whole fucking thing (gig, not me lol) I'm doing my best to hit one of the mobiles with my hand or head I am furious at that moment as one of them video called his friend and forced lots of people including myself to watch his friend's fucking face instead of a very interesting gig. Arrrrrgggghhh, they were both taller than me and really pissed off I guess, but I dominated them by creating havoc at this barrier. Even security told them off few times, but none of other metal fans supported me ! When I was 16 -17 such wankers would be ripped apart literally, and now they are ..a majority. I'm still angry. Damn it what's happened to people?

I was there and it's true... 90% of the people there were oldies waiting to see Megadeth. Even when Meshuggah came out, only 10% of people there lost their shit (I was one of those people hahaha).

To be fair to them, too, Smile had come out maybe two weeks prior, and most casual fans wouldn't have had the time to really delve in.

I don't get the hate on this song. Tesseract have always created something new and exciting. And that's what I love about them! They evolve. And if you don't like that, you're kinda wrong in *progressive* genres. This is extremely powerful and groovy while still obtaining beauty!
