@@franco912 well imma delete this in a few hours coz its not unconstitutionally right for us to discuss it. But privileges for majority of malaysias races and that majority has got a privilege thing in disguise as their rights, which accounts for more than a quarter discounts in everything they spend and ease in getting different benefits in life including government university admissions with relatively lower results.(basically every aspect) Search up affirmative action and its the worst in Malaysia.
Reason why is it so dangerous in long term economic growth is because it's paid by our resources for free and taxes from other "people". Imagine being the minority and paying most of the taxes and country is hanging on the resources which probably trump everywhere in the world. We have all sorts of resources but we put our people last as compared to Singapore.
Resources +privileges(to hold big projects)= corruption and loopholes for more corruption. The reason why the split happened is the same as to how malaysia can never become developed.
They have their own matriculations and uni just to cater to the majority in the name of bridging the rac*al economic gaps since independence, but that basically gives away chances to "exploit resources", you know corrupt shit.
People become less eager to work for real, sinking deeper economically while investors in and outta country leave gradually. Brain drain is rampant because the economy doesnt grow enough leaving a gap between market demand for advanced jobs and "overly supplied" graduates.(cheap work for healthcare workers, etc.) More people, demoralised, regardless of their origins leave so thats why the new pm is our only hope of salvation,(tho i don't think theres saving it) to rid corruption .
Anyway you get the point and the solution is clear as day since the days of post independence povertyy has been over for good. Look up other topics if you decide to know more

Now after 61 yrs since 1965 we can notice that spore still booming despite the ups and downs of the world economy. Malaysia truly shrinking into deeper economic dire straits. Tonnes of debts. Here in Malaysia we allow Malay to govern our country but by insisting on only the Malay right totally ignored the existence of others. Their right were totally ignored by that time pm mahathir becoz he wanted to help Malay come up in life. Only thing they nvr realized that at 21st century they cannot afford to totally spoonfed the Malay only they continued coz they were forced they don't want to.lose the Malay votes. It was truly the shrinking nation and divisive ppl in Malaysia. As they were exposed WTH the life in the hand of their father. You know one thing abt the pendatang like Chinese india punjabi had no choice strive harder workg very hard to put the meal on the table. They nvr get much ppl place in the university due to the quota system . They were left out. Fast when 2018 polling results bring them down also stubbornly refused to admit the lost. By allowing smart educated non Malu WTH the grasp of the spore govt who is willing to offer the pr and much better future in life. We lost huge number of great talent gone. Left WTH the lesser quality talent in the country. U can hate the Chinese most but do Malay realized without the Chinese existence in the Malaysia economy can the Malay survived . Malay can do food business contractor business. But real big business even without the help of the government who thrived. They nvr get the help the shopping factories bosses but they were pushed to give the Malay job first above other race. Aren't we ashamed. Mentioned abt stingy we must accept they come up in business through hardship but the Malay get the job thankful.

Nothing to say sorry.. Mr lee really want equallity, but it not relevant at that time because inequality of economy gap between malaysia state.. Singapore citizen already educated but in sabah sarawak and tanah melayu they lack of education at that time..british use split and rule strategy.. If not meritokration and quota, the poor become more poorer, the rich become richer.. For analogy if japan merge with filipina, japannese will conquer filipina, because they come from high curency country and well developed nation.. The separation is good, no more racial riot and peace come true.. No more killing

prior to separation for a relatively short period Singapore was part of the Malaysia federation and LKY was concerned about non Malays in Malaysia (not just the Chinese) not having equal opportunity. He had raised hope for many living in Sabah / Sarawak / Penang etc that why Singapore was part of the federation that collectively they would get an equal voice. He knew once Singapore left the Federation that the hopes of many non Malay living in Malaysia would be severely set back.
