True story: When I was a child I saw this game in PlayStation Magazine and really wanted to play it, so my father took me to a toy store, but they didn't have it so I picked Crash Bandicoot instead ... One of the best desisions in my life. A few years ago I bought the game used, It was so bad I gave up during the top down section.

I may have owned that. It was full of random mini games and had a mini game select that featured a weird alien that had nothing to do with sports. I was 6 and I was still able to tell how bad it was!
Worse load times than Sonic 06.
Worse controls than Bubsy 3D.
Worse gunplay than Shadow the Hedgehog.

God, you know what that momentum issue with Cheesy's controls remind me of?
In Pandemonium 2, when you picked up a powerup as Fargus you gained some seconds of invincibility and could kill enemies
just by touching them, but were unable to stop running.
Except Pandemonium 2 controled better... and it was fun... and it was a trade-off for the invincibility... AND GOOD!
But do you know what that game DOESN'T have? A teapot boss battle.

The game also makes fun of fat people.
Cheesy's eyes are inconsistent. The box art gives him CGI eyes, the cutscenes give him cartoonish eyes and the gameplay gives him eyes that make it seem like he's dead tired after a 3 month bender.
I like how on the cover he looks like an Aardman creation and they had NOTHING to do with any of this!

Thankyou, someone else who understands the importance of the cut scene from Muppets Christmas Carol. The songs a little wank but necessary for the reprisal at the end, not to mention crucial for the storyline. A man of my own heart.
As for cheesy shame no one can build this from the ground up and turn it into something playable
