I know the dance of the moonlight jellies isn’t useful but I can never resist going: it’s so beautiful 🤩 a little moment of calm halfway through each year of playthrough
The dehydrator's main benefit is that it processes fruit and mushrooms faster than kegs or preserves jars, it also still improves the sale price of the crop, for example, 5 iridium quality purple mushrooms sell for 2,500g, 1 dried purple mushrooms with Artisan sells for 2,660g while 5 pickled purple mushrooms with Artisan sells for 3,850g however making 5 pickled purple mushrooms takes 5 preserves jars (250 wood, 200 stone and 40 coal) and about in-game 2-3 days Also basic quality dinosaur eggs are still better turned into dinosaur mayonnaise, silver quality and above sell for more with the treasure appraisal guide but basic quality dont
I have to disagree with the mushroom cave. Of course this is only my opinion, and I'm not saying you're wrong or that your opinion is invalid in any way. Yes, it comes with a free dehydrator, but you're going to have to buy the recipe anyway to make more of them! So you're still spending the 10,000g. And we have mushroom logs now that do the exact same thing! So there is no point having 2 things that do the same thing. And yes, I know the same could be said about fruit trees and the fruit bat cave. Like I said, that's just what I think and the choice is of course up to the individual players and how they want to do it!☺️
Grandpa: I give you the farm so you don't have to waste away working at JoJo Mart. Player: Time is money, don't be slow must build industrial farm and increase profits JoJo Mart and Pierre: Closed out sale
Another mistake is not paying attention to your mine layouts. Each year they change somewhat, but as far as I can tell, every 40 floors has the same layout (5 matches 45 & 85, 11 matches 51 and 91 and so on), so always check to see which floors below multiples of ten (21, 31, 41, Etc.) have wide open spaces. When you need ore or coal, running to known cavern floors repeatedly is the fastest way to get tiered ores, and floors between 60 and 70 for coal from dust sprites; if you're lucky, you can also avoid more frustrating parts of the mines like the spiral floors and lower 10 of each layer in your excursions.
Interesting. I haven't seen trees improve mushroom log harvest time, but I have seen them increase the number of mushrooms per log on top of specific tree species increasing likelihood of certain types of mushrooms and quality. Although quality is irrelevant after being an artisan and dumping the shrooms into "deconstructors" lol. I also seem to have heard you can get double hay from harvesting blue grass, particularly with the iridum scythe. And about green rain, since Year 1 has some exclusive NPC dialogue, I'd say go for all of their talks fmthe first year, then reset the day in order to get that big moss payout. I typically go for about 300 moss a year myself. I even managed to salvage a bunch of wild seeds and have 8 fiddlehead fern trees with heavy tappers. Ferns every day.
Burglar ring + java ring is actually insane. I finally found a java ring and Im never running out of coffee again. Also, use the dehydrator. Maybe not in spring but plant blueberries summer year 1 and just profit
I’m sticking with fruit bats because I keep forgetting to check the cave every day. Plus, the faster I complete the community center, the sooner I can go to Ginger Island.
Well, the fruit bat cave is best if you have the woods farm along with mushroom logs. For growing fruit trees takes forever so it's best to do the CCenter otherwise.
Farm fish smoker by buying cabin cost 100 g plus immediately build in riverfarm Then destroy cabin repeat until you like but remember the coal is hard to get in early 100g for 10 wood = 1 coal robin
Pro tip: call the dehydrator the deconstructor on purpose so that a bunch of people leave comments on your videos and drive engagement numbers
Accident 🤪
@mGaud2 uh huh 😉
That’s a legit strategy they follow, and look at us commenting. 😂 It works
@@mGaud2is a genius!

You said deconstructor instead of dehydrator.
plot twist, he meant to say it
Whoops!

You can’t make pickled mushrooms what are you babbling about
@@metacross2826 You can since 1.6

Valid!
I agree. The fruit cave saves you gold on buying all those friggin saplings and at least 3 of the fruits are loved gifts
I only like the mushroom cave if you're doing a Joja run quickly for achievements and you just wanna get back to your main save XD
Another plus side to finishing the dust sprite quest is all the coal you’ll get.
True. Always needed

I used to pick mushroom cave but changed towards bat. Early iridium fruit helps a lot, especially for gifting purpose
Iridium fruits doesn't help gifting anymore than base variety does. An apple, is an apple to the NPCs.

Yeah, I have one mystic tree with mushroom log as a timer for my quarry that Im filling with them. They always spawn same day.
your content is so helpful 😂 all the knowledge of the game I have has come from this channel

Since 1.6 they produce mushrooms every 2nd day now. Minor, but ever so slightly less infrequent
You don't get the recipe for the coffee maker, but I added three other co-op farmhands and each one got a coffee maker. So now I have four. 😅
Awesome video, ty 😊 Lots of great tips 👍
The biggest mistake is forgetting your pet in the game nice content man keep it up. :)
Now that pets can give gifts… you’re right!
The shaving enchantment on the axe will also get you more crops on giant crops.

i don t think luck matter when catching jelly
I was fishing/hoping for jelly and popped a magic rock candy and got three within 12 casts. Coincidence?
It matters a lot! Check wiki
Luck buffs help, daily luck doesn't
@@mGaud2 Each level of Luck Buff applied significantly increases the chance of catching it. Daily Luck has no effect. [this is from the wiki]
I thought daily luck didn’t effect jelly chances, at least for the cave jelly that’s what it said for the wiki
Really people have trouble getting those water Jellies things?
I get them everytime i go fishing, no matter that days luck.
Ive gotten up to 18 most of the various legendary fish
I saw about thropy pets with fish ponds on TikTok
not you being into Sam too 😭😭
Does the mushroom stump work in the mushroom cave?
It does, but you can’t grow trees in there so it’s less effective
