I love the 16. I have several A5s in 16ga and also a Citori Lightning in 16. I like them equally but the last several pheasant trips I carried the Citori.
I really like the double. My Grand Father just gave me a original Browning Sweet Sixteen that was my Great Grand Fathers. Its my first sixteen and first Browning and I am very impressed with both!
I wish I could find a 16 gauge shotgun. And I don't know why people buy shotgun ammo in the store when in fact they are one of the easiest rounds to reload.
You got it backwards. The BPS is on a 12 ga frame=7+ pound gun. The Model 12 16 ga is on the 20 gauge frame=6.33 pounds. Many parts on the M12 16 ga are marked 16-20; slide release is the most obvious. The new Browning A5 is a proper 16 ga having a 20 ga frame.
Now you need an actual sweet 16
