A great video and the focus on safety as there should be with semis. I hAd a browning semi in the past and it was a great shotgun. I used it for hide shotung and it just worked but went back to over and under as we walk about from feild to feild a lot.
I’d have to have my own armoury to fit everything TSC says “everyone should have in the cabinet”.
😂😂😂 I DO WITHOUT HIS HELP!!🤦♂️🤦♂️😂
This model is sold in the United States as the Browning Silver. I have one in 20 gauge and love it. I use it for trap and hunting doves and crows. Great gun!
Great to see the semi-autos getting a review. There a great gun, fun to use & easily maintained. We'll done to the Oxford gun company for doing the review, as I know some clubs tend to look down on these guns as there not the "standard" gun of choice. I own a remi 1100 which still to this day holds it's own against the modern shotguns.
Some Brownings are made down the road from me in Missouri. They make a huge line of rifles and Shotguns so not sure, but they do make decent shotguns from my own experience with them. Growing up in the country we used our Rem 870 with 28" vented rib for most wing shooting like summer Doves and winter Rabbits, Ducks. Still shoot clays with that same 870 from time to time.
Nice shooting!
My first game gun was a Browning smiauto 25 or 26 inches. Excellente!!
In my opinion one of the best semi autos is the Berretta AL391 Urika .
That’s the one that catches my eye!
@@johnreed3576 You should go for it. I have had mine for years it has never missed a beat..
My clay ground here in the states requires you to keep the bolt locked back on a semi auto unless you're in the box, that's it.
One comment, you can get different pistons for semi automatic Browning shotguns for light and heavier loads to deal with cycling lighter loads.
I bought one of the first Remington Sporting Clays ,shot it for 10 years ,never a problem or jam using even 24 gram cartridges,to this day the only gun I regret selling.
Mint review, rabbit mania looks really good. I know an Adler A110 is not an Auto, a review on that would be Fab.
Was thinkiing about getting a Fusion Evolve as my first gun, you have made my mind up for me 😁
Discontinue but it's a good thing my dad gave me his, all I shoot thru it is 3inch shotshell or 3inch slug.
I love rapid firing the gold hunter, 1 in the chamber, 3 in the tube, does come with 2 barrel, one for birdshot the other for deer
I really like the look of this semi-auto! The wood on it makes it stand out for me. I'd love to try the Browning Rabbit Mania with it.
Give The Oxford Gun Company a call the can sort this out for you.
I got a 1967 Auto5 Light twelve that I shoot 1 oz loads on trap all day long.. Love the hump back design as I can keep my head straight up while shooting..
The Auto 5 sits on the semi auto throne!
Even that I am a yank I still love your videos and you are the type of a fellow that I would love to shoot a round of skeet or sporting clays with. Take care. Jack
Ahaha, very true, if you ever cross the pond and have a chance to visit we would love to see you!
Phoenix, by the looks of it, is te old Gold Hunter and current Browning SIlver!!!!!! EXTREMELY RELIABLE FIREARM!!!!!!!!!!! I have one, 21 years old, cylcles 1oz loads up to 3:" 1 1/2oz laods
Really good price on this one. If I could cross the pond, I’d buy it asap.
a very challenging adventure, I am also a hunter from the tropical forests of Indonesia, you can see our excitement when hunting. greetings success always for you, good jobs
Great to see the auto getting a look in, how about a look at an old favorite the remington 1187 ???
Oooooohhhhhhh I can already hear the howls from the Beretta people !! LOL 😂
The browning B80 was the only browning semi auto worth talking about beretta semi autos streets ahead by far
For me the B2000 is the beats it. The buid quality is excellent. Up there with the original Winchester Super X.
Beretta parts assembled in Portugal
I had a Browning B80 had Beretta proof marks on the barrel. I assumed it was made by Berreta.
Wow, great shooting!
Hello David, I know the semi autos aren't that popular in the UK, BUT since you seem to be willing to demo the semi auto, I would highly recommend doing a demo with the Beretta A 400 Excel. Great gun, very little recoil, 30 inch barrel.
We will look into it, Thank You
I've just bought the Grey/ATS Excel, took it's virginity yesterday and started with 25x21g Eley just to test it, followed by 25x24g and then 50x28g so 100 in total, no jams and all cycled like a dream, been a while since I've done 100 with no problems on a semi, including my old Browning. Couple of nice new features over the older one, extended bolt and release handles and the bottom gate holds itself out the way while loading into the mag so you don't get the dreaded finger Pinch or your glove stuck! Very happy with mine 👍
I would love to see a video on a beretta a400 blue Xcel semi auto if possible Great video 👍👍👍
Got a mossberg 9200. It's been excellent 👌
Great shooting David
Loved it...Murph in Connecticut, USA
I have a Browning silver which I think is about the same gun. Very nice shooting gun , although a bit light for shooting clays for me.
Ιδιο οπλο απο την αρχη , ποιος ο λογος της Μαξους? 30 χρονια να βελτειωσουν τι? Μονο παλια μοντελα Στα παλια ναι υπαρχει διαφορα
Thank you again David is that a fixed choke if not what choke has that got in it please.
Nice looking gun 🤩🤩
Some Benelli reviews would be nice 👍🏼
Good shooting!
great gun :) what chok did you install in the shotgun? best regards
Great video, I had a Winchester semi auto back in the 90s and hated it, it's the cycling between shots really used to put me off
'Aaw ********' Classic. I do think it's great when you include all your mistakes etc. After all we are only 'hooman'
Nice jigger and some nice shooting .....Sigh, these days down here in the peoples republic of "Australiastan" we can only fondly reminisce about the effectiveness and delight that a using semi-auto Browning can deliver
Breda 930i best semi in my opinion non gas operating system too,
Beautiful looking gun
I was hoping that you would show the operation of the catch on the left hand side!
Not all Browning semi auto's were great. I had an a500r, arguably Browning's worst semi ever.
I'm guessing the person that stole mine twenty years ago didn't realize that.
There is no semi auto that beats the Beretta 391.
If you're an avid pigeon shooter, it's a must have gun. If you are shooting clays, mostly, don't bother.
They can be fussy with cartridges for cycling, are more complicated than an over and under and throw empty shells all over the place and the slam of the action as it cycles interferes a bit with aim, although that's a matter of technique, I guess.
Also, the single barrel will get hooooooot! That said, horses for courses.
Wrong the browning is the best beretta are rubbish
@@browningmaxus5360 Haha! Sure. And the earth is flat
@@afroliciouspresents3603 you mus be a liberal.....deny deny deny. Hurst eh? lmao
@Upland Knight I'm certainly liberal in how I treat clays. I seem to regularly give half of them a chance to whiz by, unscathed 🤣
@@afroliciouspresents3603 no I had beretta there over rated🤣
I like a browning but pretty much no one including the local sporting clays places have one for me to look at. Order only here in central Florida.
I did buy a browning citori csx at my local gun shop and it was the only one they had. It doesn’t fit me. I can shoot 80 out of 100 clays with it. But now im wanting to get something else and a year later still can’t find a local place or anywhere within 200 miles that has one.
I went and got fitted yesterday and the rizzini br110 fits me the best in o/u
And semi automatic is the beretta a400 sporting. Now im trying to decide which one I want
Why do you never show the speed loading feature on Browning semi’s. It’s a great feature especially if you’re in a hide.
I have a Beratta a390 silver mallard from 2000 and pintail from 1987. They both haven’t skipped a beat or jammed with 1000’s of rounds through them. My Browning golds habe failed and jammed. The Browning also have plastic parts that fail…the recoil follower and buffers in $2000 guns. Browning customer service is horrible as well.
Hi David
What about doing a pump action shotgun review.
Nice gun
Like it, must give it a go with my nasty black M2.
Nice wood on that semi
I have a morocchi so auto great gun how ab a review
Benelli Vinci Amazonia green version for me every time.
Are there three shot comps ?
Do a show on a browning double auto the best and must fun to shoot
The gun is really good looking. Is it multi or fixed choke....steel proofed? Please do a review with beretta 303 semi-auto. Thanks.
i would like to see you test the breda93oi i have one a great gun.
I'm a big fan of your own channel Roadrocket but you haven't been putting much up lately.
@@raydavies7328 It's been quiet with the lockdown. I fell off my Motoguzzi Stornello, no harm done. I'll be making more videos soon.
Look forward to it, cheers.
What choke you using
Looks very much like my Browning Gold Classic Hunter, but with much nicer wood.
I have a Gold Classic Hunter also, and fully agree.
Browning A5. Best semi auto my book.
did you cuss when you missed the bunny rabbit!
Please could you review the Russian baikal semi auto 😊
Not sure why you think a semiauto isn't a serious option? They make for better field guns than most over and unders.
The internal workings are the exact same as the Winchester SX4. The gas system will cycle anything you put through it.
is the best!! im not have phoenix version but have the gold... my best shotgun!! you forget one thing that only Browning does, if you load from below when it is unloaded and open it rearms automatically
Beretta A302/303
Please Try the Remington 1100 ....
Just wait it is on the list.
I shoot a Beretta A400 X cel Brilliant gun, had a 391 before that and sorry I didn`t keep it
Browning A5 auto IS the Semiauto King.
Where is this Browning for sale ?. Thanks
If you give The Oxford Gun Company a call and say you are looking for the gun you sow on The Shooting Channel they will help you. Thanks TSC Team.
Love single shot semi autos eventfully they all end as a single shot
Not true
Καλυτερα να ειχαν παραμεινει μεχρι το β80 και το 2000 ,αυτο ισχυει και για αλλες μαρκες ,
Benelli SBE #1
Looks the same as a Browning Silver.
Magazine capacity?
4+1 in the US, 2+1 in the UK.
Quality,but a heavier shot gun.
Don't go serious clay shooting with one? better ask Duncan lawton about that 🤔
That’s why I bought my Remington as I believe that Duncan was the first to shoot 100 straight in a sporting competition with one.
I must be stuck in the past, because I still think £600 is a lot of money for just a whim.
No the m2 is
glad you didn't say hatfield
Benelli..........
Why is an auto not serious?
Semis are a great option for all kind of shooting. I have an OU and a Browning Silver (very similar to this one). I choose the Silver 90% of the times no matter if I am hunting or shooting Trap, Skeet or Sporting. Not a very serious person. :)
Beretta A400 is by far a better choice.
Why .Browning invented it!
I liked this channel but it's turned into just Browning infomercial - every gun is a Browning derivate 90% of the time. The A400 is a superior auto by far
LMAO.....says who????? How many versions has Beretta had to come up with? Go to any American gun smith and find piles of A400's broken. Haters like you are comical lmao
@@uplandknight5782 Joe Fanizzi might be able to put up a pretty good argument in favor of the A400.
@@jcg00a psssst, it's the operator
@@uplandknight5782 you think he shoots a new one everyday? I doubt he has piles of broken A400s in his garage.
@@jcg00a do a little search online. You might be surprised regarding your A400
What you really need above all is a Remington 1100...
Watch this space coming soon..... TSC Team
Is their uk distributor Raytrade? If so that’s reason enough to give it a miss. Awful on my sporter pro
@@gaughantony From all I know they don't make Remingtons anymore, besides that I'm not from the UK
@@gaughantony yes they do and yes they bring them into the UK.
