We would like to clarify that the steering kit in this video is NOT an RPM Steering kit. The steering kit in this video is an Apex Chassis kit as indicated by the Apex Chassis logo in the center of the tie rod. RPM did in fact use these ends in our steering kits and sold tens of thousands of them which carried our lifetime bend or break warranty. All parts have a failure point and have limitations. All that said, RPM Steering on 12/1/2023 introduced our own forged rod end. These ends are built to our forged specifications and as always we offer a lifetime bend or break warranty on all our parts.
I love that even in another country we have great people they are passionate about wheeling!! I didn't think I would enjoy this but I was wrong.
That's some genuinely tough terrain to rock crawl on!!!
Once again, couple great videos. Looking forward to the rest of them !
70th! I would have been first but you were late and I had meeting to attend. Well, at least in that shale terrain if you have to stack rocks you have a wide selection! Surprised at all the Gladiators! Lots of teamwork too. Great bunch of rigs. LIteBriteNationRocksDubai!
Thanks for this second instalment of your Dubai adventure.....let's hope the rock crawling scene there continues to grow 😁👍
It is very pleasant for me as a Lebanese subscriber, to hear our Lebanese Arabic accent in your video guys, thank you for all this lovely content
Great adventure with fun loving people in fantastic rigs.
Those are apex tie rod ends not rpm
RPM uses apex ends. Ours broke on the first obstacle on the first trail we ever did with them. It was an RPM steering kit.
That’s an Apex tie rod and ends. RPM doesn’t use Apex anything anymore. Apex has those silly Chinese stars.
@@LiteBrite so the apex tie rod end broke. Rpm started making there own tie rod ends not to long ago!!! Two completely different companies
@litebrite. Wrong! RPM does not use Apex Chassis ends. You need to issue a correction. This is a full on Apex Chassis kit.
I didn't realize it was that rocky there. All you normally see is photos of their skyline and beaches and their police with super cars. Happy Trails to you both.
Dubai is a city, the country is UAE, the mountains are far away from dubai.
This was only about an hour drive from the emirate of Dubai. For simplicity, we were asked to just say Dubai so that most of our viewers (who are Americans) would have an easier time recognizing our general location. Most have never heard of Sharjah or Ras Al-Khaimah, unfortunately. 😊
@@LiteBrite Thanks Brittany for clearing that up.
Dubai is great. Was there in February.
I don’t understand this sport but it’s interesting and incredible
Watched on the spin bike at midnight
So when is ultra4 UAE Staring up?
Very cool to see them embracing the lifestyle.
Those guys don't play over there with vehicles and driving. I've seen some crazy videos over the years from them. I'd give them a few more years and they will own the US off-road drivers. 😂
After watching the video, that’s not even RPM steering at all. If you look at the passenger side, that’s Apex. It has the ninja star washers bent over the aluminum.
Correct. Kevin needs to issue a correction. This is an Apex Chassis kit.
You mean, no one in Dubai recognized you used the same sat that NASA faked the Apollo landings on? (G)
I've seen movies of Dubai & all I see is sand & desert, never would I think they'd have rocky mountains for offroading, rock crawling fun like this for some reason. Lol Then again, all nations have some sort of rocky mountains some where, right? 🤦🏼♂️🤣😂 Looks totally fun guys, rock on! 🤟🏻🤙🏼
These dudes got the most expensive everything lol
Right 😂 like the guy with 8 ORI struts
Oh man….I was having really bad flashbacks of the million dollar man when Kevin was running, and jumping. 🤦♂️ Yes, I realize I just aged myself.
There was high inflation in the 70’s, so it was the 6 Million Dollar Man 😂
@@stevea3936 yeah your right it’s been a while
Sweet land cruiser. I 👍
That 70 Series Troopy is setup perfectly for overlanding and expedition travel. Sweet rig.
. It was a nice hiatus having the LB Compound..but this is where you guys shine. Love the fact that Lite Brite is back on the road again.... Lite Brite theme song should be Willie Nelson's "On The Road Again".
I really like that desert tan Gladiator.
Such awesome people and rigs. Love how everyone jumps in and helps. That terrain is vicious looking for sidewalls. Wish I was there.
Its my idea or almost all the JL/JT where running dana 44 (m210/220) on 40" tires??
I love watching other countries and what they do to their rigs. It's so cool seeing your wheels all over the World!! ❤️❤️💯🤙
Dubai looks Amazing!

Awesome seeing what other countries are doing with the sport. That tan gradiator is sick!!! Kevin and Brit keep the incredible adventures coming 👍👍👍
Oh So Many 🥂😘🥂😘💞Your worldly videos & Every driver who joins your super TRAIN across any terrain ❣️❣️😘
It's a shame, Big Red, the (Stepchild) is not there. Bring spare tires!! Looking forward to the series. Thx, be fun and represent Americans.
Still playing Catch up and This was 1 Sick Video, those Rigs were crazy sick! And I Loved that Overlanding Rig! Great Video as well and keep them Coming! C.J in Central Arizona! 🇺🇸
Well Kevin do you think these trials compare to king of the hammers 🔨 or at least some of the trials. Oh just think Chris could set up shop in this country what do you think.
Should have called Matts Off-road Recovery and the Worlds Largest Wrecker would have done the job. LOL.
That trails was knarly! Especially that last obstacle. That was truly insane! Super cool rock crawling out there with absolutely badass rigs. Must have been one hell of a time!
I'm glad that gladiators are showing their zeal. I bought mine and kept the smile on my face like... well despite all the negative posts about the longer wheel base lalala... I never wheeled before so it seemed great to me. Ignorance is bliss. But I'm seeing all these Mo-chines (sandrunners, mojaves) holding their own, and I think we're seeing the future of jeep.
I wanted to meet you if you still in dubai because I need your advice and show how far your information supported and increased my knowledge about offroading specially i have a jeep and planning to make it ready for any kind of terrain and any weather
So what does Northridge calm them, I couldn't locate lite brite wheels on their page ?
I hate it when you got freaking 10 people giving directions should be only one person telling you what to do as a spotter
Sometimes people just get excited, especially in this case where a lot of them are new to the hobby. 😊
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
I recognized the Land Rover clutch pedal first.
Dude! Those rigs are sick. Well done all.... Great vids...
It would be nice to see a 5x150 bolt pattern.
These guys need to get their hands on cherokees
I just love these Dubai videos 👍
Kevin Brittany massive fan recently bought a 2016 jeep wrangler unlimited sport absolutely loving it i am active duty army getting stationed in Virginia next time you go to AOAA i want to be out there and have you sign my jeep
I hope you guys release the wheels for tundra 2nd gens with the bolt pattern 5x150. Id LOOOVE these on my tundra in the machined color. I have ssw offroad dakars on it and i love them. But some beadlocks would be AMAZING
Viewers of your channel might be inspired to break stock axles, U-Joints, transfer-case parts, etc.. Think your Ultra-4 race was the pinnacle of human and machine endurance testing. To even finish a thrashing like that is a miracle. 13:15 - See that Kev. put his shirt back on. Clothing culture might be relaxing there, in some social circles.
Such cool stuff!
Great video thank you!
Such a nice day! Amazing video 🤩🔥
Jooooooooooooon
Omg Kevin always film the Jeep with all its body panels on.
Adam was lucky not to cut a sidewall!!
UAE does resemble southern Arizona..... The only difference is the shale ..... It just deteriorates under the tire .... If your bumper or body panels ( as seen in the video) makes contact with it.... It will break away before any serious damage, other than scratches. If rock climbing catches on in UAE..... In 20 years all their Arizona looking rock features will be worn down to a semi flat terrain
When you were about to do the rim segment, and said "for those who've been following along" I thought for a second you would speak about those gold old Milestars :p
It's been a journey! 😁
Since you guys are in Dubai, was that ton of rain a metric ton? 😂😂😂. The black Gladiator at the end was pretty awesome.
I just can't stop thinking that you guys are doing all this without health insurance😮. It's giving me an anxiety is like people four wheeling with their Jeeps that they have on loan from the bank still with thousands of dollars in modifications but they still owe $10,000 of dollars😢😢. Don't break it Terry you got to drive it home.
How do you know what insurance they do or don’t have?
@@stevepauley2437 they said it in their video 🤷🤫
@@stevepauley2437 health insurance btw☠️ who knows if there's insurance on all those toys. I guess I just was a little surprised they have a huge compound a ton of toys and no health insurance 🤷. That's all relax.
@@jessejordan3228 they obviously have enough money that they’re self insured
Another set of trails on my bucket list. It’s always awesome to see the sport catching on in other regions of the world.
👍
I can just imagine Paul from fabrats "oh im sure the fj would make it up thta obstacle"
I am impressed that these folks were able to get the after market parts. At least in Saudi Arabia there are lots of restrictions. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing like a Helmi swapped Gladiator tearing up the trails.
I bet there are a lot of Americans there working in the oil industry, not that they would have rigs there for this relatively new trail riding.
I was like man that looks like my home town in az
The 4-digit license plate must be worth several times the Jeep
Looks super fun guys! What are the fenders on the white JL?
Would be nice to see you guys while you are here. I am usually in the dunes of Sweihan or Liwa however, Ill be in Dubai 2/3 Mar.
We’re already home unfortunately but we did go out to the dunes you talk about. Went to the race track out there too
@@LiteBrite hopefully Ill catch up with you guys in the states. Take care and keep producing the awesome videos.
Looks just like Calico.
This is not Dubai
Correct - technically it’s Ras Al-Khaimah, but we were asked to just say Dubai since most of our viewers are American and would have a better frame of reference by saying Dubai (since most have unfortunately never heard of Ras Al-Khaimah). ❤️
This is exactly how most of the Hammer trails started out.
Nadim! great to see you hanging with Lite Brite
Guess you were the only woman on that trip.Strange no kids or dogs or other women!
There was another woman with us on the trail but generally women here prefer to do brunches and shopping on the weekends with their girlfriends.
@@LiteBrite I was there and LOVE doing this♥️ There’s usually a few woman involved with their spouses. A lot more woman do the sand dunes. Was nice to meet you both! Safe travels and looking forward to watching your adventures 🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing.. cheers.
Glad to see u wheeling again 😊
Lol rpm steering is junk….go straight to heims
Those Tre's aren't from RPM. They're Apex. RPM now has their own TRE's and even offer heim ends.
@craigo6808 Kevin is incorrect. This is an Apex Chassis kit. RPM does not use Apex Chassis ends. Kevin needs to issue a correction.
It's great to see you doing something new
Everyone recommends rpm steering. But clearly they are junk. Who would you recommend? I need to order something sooner rather than later.
Rock Krawler. They’ve been torture testing theirs on their King of the Hammer rig for years. That’s what we have on the Stepchild now.
Those are Apex TRE's. RPM no longer utilizes them since November of 2023 and has their own TRE's being produced.
@@LiteBrite the rest of my suspension is RK. But everyone recommends. Rpm so I was leaning that way. Happy to see your video. And get your advice to stick with RK. Thank you
@alaskanpeeps Kevin is incorrect. This is an Apex Chassi kit. RPM does not use Apex Chassis ends. Kevin needs to issue a correction.
Buy a supercar while your there.
Do they build these rigs over there, or are they built over here and shipped? It's amazing how this could easily be misread as footage from America, with all of the familiar brands and equipment.
They build them there. We show the shop in another video
@@LiteBrite Cool. I'll find it!
Living your best lives!
we needa see the giant dunes ( I think they may actually be in Egypt or Saudi) and of course midnight at the Oasis with appropriate music.
Dubai is a city, the country is UAE, the mountains shown here are far away from dubai.
The dunes video will be coming. These mountains are about an hour or so outside of Dubai
👍❤️ #Jellynation
great job again.
Just ordered a RPM Tie Rod a few days ago. It hadn't shipped when I called so I canceled it. Saved myself a headache and a bad day out on a trail!
This is not an RPM Steering Kit. It is an Apex Chassis kit. Kevin needs to issue a correction.
Well, crap. I canceled the order. Went with a Rusty’s off-road tie rod instead which is probably not a bad choice.
Definitely a different Dubai from the Dubai I visited many times in the Navy
This was only about an hour drive from the emirate of Dubai. Although the city is still probably very different than what you remember. The speed of construction is crazy here!
@@LiteBriteI lt dramatically changed from my 1998 deployment to my 2001/2002 deployment to my last deployment in 2004….
How come you guys (@Litebritenarion) you air down your tires but in the Dubai video, nobody seems to air down.
They were all aired down
@@LiteBrite oh cool! I guess not as much as you guys.
I’m buggy was running 10psi then 7psi…we were testing the grooving on the LTBs and see if we could increase the psi a bit to protect from pinch flats…traction wasn’t great at 10…7 was better…we used to run 5psi before the grooving…so better traction, more sidewall protection…
How was the response to a loud female over there? Not sure about Dubai but a lot of the folks in that region have a certain opinion of ladies…
The bronze renegade wheels are pretty tight. If I still had my yeep…
