I usually play at a outside field but with 100°+ weather this weekend no thanks. I wish there was no engagement distance but I understand safety is key. Usually they tie green plastic bands around your arms. One team has the bands, and the other does not. Also, if you’re newer you should wear sweatpants. They’re a lot thicker than usual pants, so they decrease the pain, but you may sweat more in them, so it’s personal preference.
