Seema like a very angry God who is vengeful and jealous. Everything seem unclean... A woman seem unclean all the time even when giving birth to a holy child. If she births a girl she is even more unclean.... Poor all animals constantly being sacrificed for impossible demands of staying holy and clean... It makes no sense to me!!! The reader reads it very well though and I appreciate it as i will continue studying this. Many blessings
God created you! He definitely HATES sinful living! And, His ways are higher than your ways, and His thoughts are higher than your thoughts. We cannot even know the things God knows, sees, etc. Being mad at God does not do you or me any good; it just separates us from His presence! But, fully trusting in our Creator, believing His Word, and having an intimate relationship with Him will change you and me, for God takes away the anger and puts His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and long-suffering within us through the Holy Spirit as we cry out to Him! Allow God to show you who He really is! He IS so much more than what you see. Everything God does is right and is good, even if you and I see it as bad, for God cannot be wrong! He IS for you and not against you! Love and trust Him with all of your heart, soul, and mind, and He will be Your God, and He will call you His child!
According to a midwife bestie these laws are to protect women. For example after giving birth the body must grow back together before having sex. The sex education and breastfeeding nurse at my local clinic begged me to tell all the women I know to take a break from sex while menstruating as the body is too soft and easily damaged. My bestie also said these laws are the first to give women that space which other law codes do not. Take for example how you get to be secluded with your newborn longer if she's a girl, so God gives you more of a break from normal duties and from too many critical people while you just bond with your baby. Also if we kept the laws for fruit trees we would have more fruit production. If armies followed the rules for warfare there would be way less PTSD. The food laws as GOD gave them are very simple and guard against tape worms damaging our brains. Also I can go on all day about the infant burning in the Canaanite religions. GOD has so many ways of trying to keep people safe.❤❤❤
@@SheenyPebble Everyone needs to see it! We might only think that God placed this laws in order to be cruel or discriminate, because WE would've done it for such reasons. Let us not project the constrains of our human minds onto God who sees all and knows all. And thank God for medicine and science, for it helps us understand Him better.
What is helping me is praying a very quick prayer before that God would help me see Christ in this. And God has really helped me because everytime the phrase 'male without blemish' or 'sin offering' or 'high priest' etc is mentioned, i instantly think that this is what Christ is. May God guide your listening. Its awesome that the israelites had to do all of these very specific rituals to atone for sin, but now we have one single sin offering for all (Christ). If you listen and feel a little mentally overwhelmed, be thankful that we no longer have to consider all these things when asking for forgiveness. God bless
They were likely sisters or nieces. I know that's nasty, but it wasn't back then. Literally there was no one else. But, a big reason it was a lot more okay then than it is today is that we don't have the genetic mutations that make incestual reproduction dangerous. Also, social constructs in general were relatively new, and incest simply wasn't looked down upon yet. God banned that only after there were plenty of other people and genetic mutations became dangerous.

This is a translation thing again. There were most probably women. The way known things are left out can be mystifying to English readers. The Ancient Hebrew way of saying things can mean other things we don't understand especially if an idiom is translated the way that makes less sense. There are good explanations out there.....
Love your neighbor, but also here are a thousand things that can get you cut off from your people, and then you're not a neighbor anymore... and then "love" is apparently out of the question.
HE knows things so we don't have to find them out by taking ourselves out. Also some of the sacrifice details you can't tell in the translation but they illustrated how sin and atonement work in the spirit realm. Like that sin pollutes us and we need healing from it.
David Suchet also goes over genesis (the first part of the Bible) which talks about Adam and Eve. Maybe that will answer your question if you’ll go listen to it. Adam is male and Eve is female. Eve was made for Adam out of his own rib.
@Marie Westwood, perhaps you can google Dr Michael S Heiser; he is a biblical scholar and has done some podcasts on Adam and Eve. Hopefully, his studies could provide some answers to your questions 🙏. ‘….seek and you’ll find.’
The bible is a book mostly written by men who never even met the people they wrote about (many years after). It is also heavily edited and censored by a church that had a power and politics agenda, eliminating around 14 books (the Apocrypha). In addition, there isn't just one Christian bible - there are at least three with different numbers of chapters. There exists no provable, fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in it. Thus, it is pure human belief - a human emotion and dependent on as many human thoughts as there are humans. To believe without factual evidence is like saying a court case should be determined by only hearsay or a feeling. It's hard to think God wouldn't hold humans to a standard that they hold themselves. ANYTHING supernatural or spiritual that is taken from the bible is hearsay, feelings, beliefs, hopes, and tales of imaginations, and not proven with evidence.
When you die, you will have to face God. Are you really hoping that the word of God will be a lie so you can be annihilated at death and not have to pay the price of the evil you have done here? Such as lying, swearing, being angry etc? Please just accept that Christ died as your sin offering and give up your hard heart
@@PrairieDogFan "When you die, you will have to face God" I can't wait to face God and ask Him about His evils (like how He murdered 4 billion people during Noah's flood, among other atrocities). Actually, I'm just arguing -- I have already died from a cardiac arrest and didn't see God, Jesus, my grandma, my dog, a bright light or heaven. I also didn't hear any sounds.
@darz3829 it all depends on how serious you see sin. If sin is nothing to you, then murdering nearly an entire planet for their sin is an overreaction. If you truly understand what sin is and how evil we are against a holy God, then you know that we absolutely deserve the worst punishment for it. You did not die. Death is when your body passes from this world and its flesh decomposes. Clinical near death experiences, or instances when patients are wrongfully pronounced clinically dead based on readings of their vitals, is not death. But i am glad you did not die at that time. Perhaps so that God could continue reaching out to you
@@PrairieDogFan "it all depends on how serious you see sin. If sin is nothing to you, then murdering nearly an entire planet for their sin is an overreaction." Sin is entirely a human social convention, which allows us to live together without harming each other. "harming" is also another way of say taking one's life - the ultimate harm. Any sin can be justified by human behavior (like if a woman steals bread to feed her starving baby). "how evil we are against a holy God, then you know that we absolutely deserve the worst punishment for it ."God flooded the earth in judgment of humanity's wickedness and violence, which he saw as corrupting the earth. When you're talking about BILLIONS of people it's hard to justify that all of them deserve death. What about babies? What about sinless animals? And ultimately, it was God's incompetence in creation that was responsible. God screwed up on a massive scale -- why shouldn't He suffer the same punishment? "Perhaps so that God could continue reaching out to you" Or, perhaps not.
@@darz3829your heart stopping is man's definition of death, not god's. Of course you wouldn't have seen the afterlife because your soul never left your body

Brother. God blessed Cain with a life partner so that he is not alone and does not be a wander soul on the earth. If we see the conversation of God and Cain, when he was doing evil, he was not in his sense because of his anger. Still from the beginning, though human mad God angry with their sins, he still provided the things that can serve their basic needs on earth. And when Cain looked at a woman, he knew that she would be his wife. That sense of understanding was also given by God to him. He is a loving God the Father. This is probably the most detailed and complicated part of humans getting a relationship going with a very complicated Creator. The humans learning about God and what I feel is God trying to figure out his stubborn free willed creation.

Thanks so much! Evidence of a previous advanced global civilization destroyed by flood has led me to investigate the Bible for giants and tech, like the Holy Grail, thought to possibly be a power source from that lost era. Bonus.... in the movie Pulp Fiction, Samuel L Jackson quotes Leviticus just before he wastes punks. Looking forward to hearing the original context

And thank God for medicine and science, for it helps us understand Him better.
no lie, Exodus second half and Leviticus were hard to read 😢
What is helping me is praying a very quick prayer before that God would help me see Christ in this. And God has really helped me because everytime the phrase 'male without blemish' or 'sin offering' or 'high priest' etc is mentioned, i instantly think that this is what Christ is.
May God guide your listening. Its awesome that the israelites had to do all of these very specific rituals to atone for sin, but now we have one single sin offering for all (Christ). If you listen and feel a little mentally overwhelmed, be thankful that we no longer have to consider all these things when asking for forgiveness.
God bless
Can someone please let me know
They were likely sisters or nieces.

Also daughters could be there but not mentioned.
Love your neighbor, but also here are a thousand things that can get you cut off from your people, and then you're not a neighbor anymore... and then "love" is apparently out of the question.
Mercy and grace are also a part of the law.
@@lonnieclemens8028 In this book? Where?
Your neighbor isn't your physical neighbor, it's anyone you come across. That was the whole point of the parable of the Samaritan
@@justinj_00 Redefining who counts as a neighbor is the point of that story. And that's a different book by a different set of authors.
The Lord is very bloody fussy isn't he?
HE knows things so we don't have to find them out by taking ourselves out. Also some of the sacrifice details you can't tell in the translation but they illustrated how sin and atonement work in the spirit realm. Like that sin pollutes us and we need healing from it.

Adam and Eve had to sons can you just tell me how they got wife’s as I don’t understand 🙏♥️🙏

@@perberggren8415 i still don’t understand 🙏🙏
Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel are all metaphorical.
@@PrairieDogFan "When you die, you will have to face God"
I can't wait to face God and ask Him about His evils (like how He murdered 4 billion people during Noah's flood, among other atrocities).
If sin is nothing to you, then murdering nearly an entire planet for their sin is an overreaction."
Sin is entirely a human social convention, which allows us to live together without harming each other. "harming" is also another way of say taking one's life - the ultimate harm. Any sin can be justified by human behavior (like if a woman steals bread to feed her starving baby).
"how evil we are against a holy God, then you know that we absolutely deserve the worst punishment for it
."God flooded the earth in judgment of humanity's wickedness and violence, which he saw as corrupting the earth. When you're talking about BILLIONS of people it's hard to justify that all of them deserve death. What about babies? What about sinless animals? And ultimately, it was God's incompetence in creation that was responsible. God screwed up on a massive scale -- why shouldn't He suffer the same punishment?
"Perhaps so that God could continue reaching out to you"
Or, perhaps not.
