Remember kids... In master duel, when it's your turn, it's still your opponent's turn.
Fr lol
I lost in my turn just imagine
@@mohamedxX544 same, happened to me yesterday, I play a GY cyberdark summoner deck, enemy had two masquerade dragons on the field, lost due to my own effects 😂 game is so much fun
Floowandereeze in a nutshell lol
As I have infamously said many times. Your whole turn? Will be your opponents turn
Yugioh is fun and interactive game where both players get to play back and forth duel
Truly one of the statements of all time
Yugioh is like a shootout, the difference is that you hold a pistol and your opponent drop 6 nukes on your fakeass Nike shoes before ending you with a Panzerfaust
Duel links still has that somewhat to this day
I remember back in the 2000s, I was able to have more than 10 draw phases
If you, wait if you lucky you're the one telling your opponent you can't play. Also activating maxx c just in case
Imagine playing a card game that you are locked out from playing, and then be told you have a "skill issue."
I have had literal duels where i waited like 10 minutes and then when it finally was my turn, they started busting out like another 5 minute combo ON MY TURN before i even got to do anything lol
The game isn't fun anymore
Yea against floodgates. Not Maxx C it’s easy to counter or play around. If you lose to 1 card that’s kind of your fault
Not really sunce that 1 card requires at least 5 slots of your deck MINIMUM to even hope to have a way to stop it.
@@lawrencemalone-px6qeits kinda not im in one of the upper leagues with a combodeck, and if my opponent maxx c me, what then? Play my 20 Summon combo and lose the next turn because he has his deck in his hand or play nothing, and still use. Sometimes you dont have anything against maxx c, and if you dont, its he best card in the game
@@Pikmonius you said sometimes you don’t have anything against Maxx c. If someone plays a card literally preventing you from playing the game then it’s worst than Maxx C if you can’t properly counter it. Most people run Ash or Called by anyways so Maxx C can be annoying but doesn’t determine every game. Floodgates can literally lock your opponent into having no choice but to not play. Maxx C gives you an option at least
When you play against labyrinth your opponent just continues his turn in your turn.
Its our turn lol
As a Labyrnth player, not sorry🙃
At least labrynth doesn't spend 10 minutes summoning and resummoning things. They just special summon from deck and the extra deck is just kinda there

"Maxx C is a necessary evil in order to stop combo decks from being too powerful and free"
Would be a good argument. . . If combo decks themselves didn't have access to it as well.
@Farfa has said it himself, errata maxx c so you can only use it if you control no monsters (or word it such that you can't use it if your board is already established). that way it only works if you're going 2nd (or if you bricked going 1st).

There needs to me a 60 second time limit to a turn, this is the only way
60 seconds makes everything but stun unplayable - the problem is the banlist as opposed to the timer which punishes silly rogue decks just as much

Throughout playing yu gi oh I have learned that there are 2 sides of the spectrum.
The fun duelists:
You have a good game, each player respects one another, your decks arent meta and more likely than not, you're just there for the thrill of it.
And then you have
*The competitive duelists*:
These cold blooded bastards wake up make the coffee, consume the fuckin grains and pour the coffee in the sink. These guys spend hours and hours labbing their decks, multiple tabs on their pc open. They have made it their lifes purpose to wake up every morning and and construct a full spreadsheet on the exact equation down to the last digit to fuck up your day. And the worst part about it is that by the time you've learned how to beat one you've already become one.
What deck would you classify as decks that aren’t meta. For the most part I’ve seen decks that have had to become more meta or at least more oppressive just to compete. I.e dark magicians having something for damn near every situation lol. I’m just curious. I can’t even play “fun” non meta decks in Master duel anymore it’s filled with those bastards you mentioned 😭😭. I just play in a room with one of my homies and we play different decks and try new stuff out.
Also that last part is too real. You become the monster in the end
@@Flameville see the funny thing is that your response actually does put more emphasis on what I said which i honestly hate that this is a fact but lets say a fun deck is as simple as like a basic by the book hero deck vs Joey's end of series deck. Yep... that's what maxx-c does to me as well.
This is the reality Maxx C defenders won't understand. The card isn't exclusive to the player going second
The reality of Maxx C haters, pretending that it actually matters in that scenario.
There are several cards which are more problematic than Maxx C.
Five years ago where decks were a lot less powerful and had an infinitely harder time playing into Maxx C.
Sure it was problematic then but not so much in modern YuGiOh
@@colonelcider8292 it does matter, cause even if you can break the board, you'll likely draw the opponent an entirely new hand thanks to Maxx C. Your board will be subpar due to having to play through several interruptions, but they'll have a whole new hand (and probably plus some) to break it with, alongside whatever GY effs their deck happens to have)
@@colonelcider8292 this specific board is absolutely beatable. Spright red negates, Mask into unicorn and the unknown sets (prolly smashers and Infip/called by). But Maxx C did a great job at keeping Farfa's combo in check🤨.
@@danha3107 Just kill them through Maxx C if its a mid board
But what I am saying is that with 90% of end boards such as what farfa was against, you ain't breaking it unless your opponent plays incredibly poorly which does not happen at high (ish) level.
If you don't open interruption while your opponent goes first or they brick hard then you've already lost (unless its a bad deck).
As I said Maxx C was a lot more broken five years ago when end boards were nowhere nearly as broken and could be played through more easily.
In the current state of YuGiOh, Maxx C is not the biggest issue so people need to stop complaining about it being in Masterduel as if banning it would completely fix the game and make it a healthier meta game.
I'm not saying that Maxx C shouldn't be banned (eventually). I'm saying that there are several other problems that need to be dealt with before even considering Maxx C as the biggest issue
@colonelcider8292 "5 years ago where decks were less powerful" you mean specifically 2018? The year where full power Spyral ran around, Gouki extra link with Gumblar loops and all the degenerate things the Knightmares facilitated? I'm sure that Maxx C did a great job at keeping those in check because clearly Combo decks weren't being played until Maxx C got banned. Maxx C will never keep combo in check because it's not stated anywhere that only the player going second will draw it or be able to use it. More often than not the turn 2 Maxx C is the known Wincon for many strategies like striker or any cyberse.dek on the market. Can we please stop acting like it makes going second better?
“I can’t wait to pull random cards from a big pile of my cards to get rid of your cards and make the numbers next to your face go bleeleeleeleeleeleelee and then bloop because there are no more numbahs”
What I've learned about Yugioh: You play to ensure your opponent can't. Literally. It's not counterplay, it's just keeping them from playing the game to begin with. And why Maxx C hasn't even been limited yet is insane, it punishes you no matter what you do after it resolves.

Yugioh today became bad a little bit after vrains
@@Hippity_Huppity I don't mind Yu-Gi-Oh irl in tcg format. There is more fair game play with best of 3 etc. This best of 1 B's is more like solitaire then interactive Yu-Gi-Oh.
@@xhAvOkclanxyou actually are saying the TCG is more balanced than master duel? That’s insane 😂😂😂 you literally have side decks to stop every deck you run across in the TCG so you always have an out. In Master duel you can lose to a dark magician deck with the best deck in the game. It has much more variety unlike the TCG where if you don’t play the meta you are not winning any tournaments
@@lawrencemalone-px6qe you clearly don't know tcg then bro. Literally 20 different decks can win any given tourney/day in TCG. Side deck is balanced it lets you prepare for the decks whos hard counter yours. Max c is reason enough not to touch that app. Haven't opened master duel in 1.5 yrs and don't plan to any time soon.
@@xhAvOkclanx a tournament with a best of 3 series does not have more variety and diversity than a best of 1 tournament. It’s literally why the Super Bowl is the most watched sports event in the entire world and also why March Madness in college basketball is watched more than the NBA playoffs. Google the most watched sports events and they are all best of 1 format games. You are not beating Kash or Pure 2 times out of 3 with a rogue deck If they can side deck for you
the coolest way to end you turn when you think "ITS" you turn😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I thought i was the only one that had the urge to break my phone playing master duel
"Maxx C is fair, bros, it gets combo decks in check"
If you draw it........
@@literallyalois2966 du that’s how good cards you can’t search work
The problem is that the format is just too good
I spent four minutes on tiktok yesterday letting my opponent summon 8 million monsters and spamming diabellestarr. Then when it was finally my turn and I wanted to use my cards, they spammed maxx c and ash blossom
This is why I play Duel Links solely so I can enjoy the game. Playing Master Duel is just YOU watching how the opponent win in just two turns.
Welcome to master duel, where any amount of fun you planned on having was thrown away to a Maxx C going first. Or a full combo going 2nd.
Yu-Gi-Oh in geneal
@@GraveDigger35cap just tcg/ocg/md
I'm ready for Konami to destroy this format post Duelist Cup
Oh buddy, just you wait for Ishizu Tearlaments and Kashtira format :)
Just wait till base players drops enough then they butcher all, it is Konami way after all
I surrender when they spend more than 2 minutes chaining or start a massive chain on my turn. Idc if its unsportsman like. Its less unsportsman like to not let your opponent have a turn
People who hate this happening to them in MD are the exact people who do it to other people both in game and in actual in person duels
