- Colorado woman Letecia Stauch was convicted of brutally murdering her stepson, Gannon Stauch, and sentenced to life in prison in May. Letecia killed the 11-year-old boy while her then-husband, Al Stauch, was away on National Guard deployment in 2020. We blame mothers too when a stepfather abuses or kills their child. We tell mothers constantly to not date until the child is older. @@lisab3483

I feel such an overwhelming sadness seeing Gannon's sweet smile. And I never knew him or his family. Glad I never knew Letecia. the dad is like a single mom he did not want him mom to have her son but was quick to bring a deranged woman around his kid, and went off for long periods at a time, i bet Gannon was terrified of her, but the dad chose to ignore it and dumped him on that demon

From the beginning and still, to this day, I think this man is an incredible human being. I wish only the best for his new wife and all their children.

He shouldn't have been dating until his son was an adult. We tell this to single mothers all the time. And we blame mothers when their child is abused or killed by their new partner.

To be fair, from my understanding this narrative “people paid to view the images” or “RUclipsr charged audience member $3 to view autopsy photos” is very misleading. Anyone who saw these photos (specifically when posted by this RUclipsr) were members of her Patreon, and had paid to subscribe at some point. They didn’t specifically pay just to see these photos. They didn’t send her $3 for a link to view the images. They didn’t have a clandestine meeting in a dark alley to view said photos, like a shady back alley drug deal.
Additionally, just wanted to note the reason I specified “specifically when posted by this RUclipsr”) because the same images were also shown during the trial, and multiple channels that live-streamed the full trial. Their audiences would’ve also seen these photos. (By the way these videos are still active and available to see on RUclips).
I haven’t seen the photos and I would’ve been mortified if I was watching a livestream by anyone, and saw them without being given the opportunity to look away or click out. I’m not saying what ZavGirl did was right in any way. However I think a false narrative is being spread and think misinformation should always be corrected. Additionally, I am truly curious of the perspective of other individuals, who are educated on the situation. I am interested to know why what ZavGirl did was so egregious, but those large RUclipsrs who streamed the entire court case, including these photos, didn’t seem to receive similar backlash.

Sadly due to a court mistake they were livestreamed on YT during the trial so I don't think legal action could be taken as not all channels went back & blurred/deleted them from their videos & there are still pictures on a couple news channels on YT but morally for her to want to make money off of them was absolutely abhorrent & I hope she suffers with the public outrage & backlash.
He should sue her for millions and her family too

When they described how this sweet innocent boy was murdered I literally couldn’t sleep for a week. I cried so many tears for you and your family Al. I pray for you and your family still today. That God will comfort you in the hardest days. And I think, man if this is effecting me this bad, how much more is your pain. There were *SEVERAL* people who told her that it was a horrible choice to post those. 2 weeks people tried to warn her it was not acceptable, but she disregarded all those people. I was one of those people. I just happened to view one of her videos 2 weeks before she live streamed the photos and she mentioned she was thinking about doing it. I asked her how she would feel if it were her child. Her response that since it was for "the purpose of crime analysis and science" she would be okay with it. I am going to assume she is now regretting not listening to everyone trying to be a moral compass that she obviously lacked. I have no pity for her. She was warned several times for 2 weeks.
She wouldn't take the pics down because she was making big money off them. She makes money by being the uglieSt human on earth

L&C, you guys PLEASE, stay with the good reporting and compassion you involve in them. It was easy to see the time and attention your team spent on Gannon's case during the trial, and there are too many jackasses like Zav who people regret having media-truth faith in. I love how giving Al is here, telling us MORE loving details about Gannon and his helping classmates the way he had, in computer/math classes. Al and Landon were raising one whip-smart, sweet young man. 💙💙💙

My first born son died from a drug o.d. in 2005. My second born son died in a motorcycle accident 18 months later. They were both 23 when they passed. I had one child left, a daughter. She was my only reason to keep going, oh how I wanted to just end it. The pain cut so deep. My marriage wasn't strong enough to survive this so I lost my husband too. But I'm still here, broken hearted, and knowing one day, I'll be re-united with my sons again. RIP Mike and Joey. 💔💔😭😭❤️❤️❤️

She said the pictures were viewable during the trial. That’s crap! This wasn’t a trial that was easily viewable because of the angles of the cameras. Any content or images available during the trial was only shown in the court room. Not the free world!! I don’t believe her when she says she’d seen them on others streaming channels that streamed the trial. That’s BS!!
The other people who streamed or used the photos got it from her creepy self to begin with, she’s the creep that filed the FOIA request with the sole purpose of using those photos to make money and to further promote her garbage RUclips channel.
The court accidentally showed them during the live stream. Most RUclipsrs went back and removed them from their livestream tho.
Sadly it's true..... Day 2 of the trial they were shown one after another during the medical examiners testimony and are STILL out there 💔💔

Everyday I'm pretty sure he's beside you and just know that Justice is going to come from this she's locked up for the rest of her life never able to breathe another side this world or do this to anybody else but the real justices is knowing that you got just as for your son. He looks like a good little boy so I don't know why anybody would ever want to do that to him he didn't do anything wrong no matter what he did a kid is a kid. She didn't take him away because I'm pretty sure every day he's by your side every day walking with you sitting at the dinner table with you probably laying down in bed with you at night. What is just as disgusting is the fact her supporters that did pay and view them attacked anyone who spoke against it on Zav's channel. They went in on anyone who expressed their shock or outrage. Your son made such a positive impact on the world during his short time here. Gannon’s legacy will continue to live on for a long time we will never forget him, his sweet little voice and beautiful smile. It’s clear that Gannon was a fighter, especially since he was so premature however most importantly, he was loved so dearly by so many people on your lives. Also, you will see him again one day and I truly feel like you will then have eternity together.
