It happened to me twice, once with a 3 year old and once with a 17 year old. Hysterical hardly describes it. The 3 year old was in a huge super center. I was screaming that security lock the doors so no one got out with her! Abductors can change a child’s appearance within seconds. I was frantic. A clerk found her at the end of an aisle patiently waiting for me. Tears just streamed down my face. By then I was practically incoherent. The 17 year old unfolded a bit slowly because we thought she was at work. It turns out she was “moving out.” Obviously there were some problems, but the last thing I was was joking and jolly with detectives. I was piecing together the timeline, the note she left, witness statements, etc. The police told me that there is no better detective than a distraught mother. Anyway, Leticia makes me sick.
Same!!! My daughter was missing at her cousins baseball game..minutes felt like a lifetime and I felt like fainting and vomiting at the same time. I was NUMB with fear. There's no friggan way a loving mother would respond the way she did.
My son was hiding at school. I couldn’t even search once I had determined in my mind he was gone. My vocal cords would not work. My legs would not move. There were air conditioner repair guys at the school. I became sure they had stuffed him in their truck..usually a cool customer I had become unhinged in a 3 minute time span. He was hiding in a part of a play structure with another kid.
My 19 year old went missing overnight and the neighbors could hear me whaling from down the street.

When detective was telling about the body, pillow, blanket and showing something to the jury the defense attorneys wouldn’t look that way. I noticed one attorney was just staring at her, she had her head down. It would be hard to be a defense attorney in cases like this where you knew the defendant was guilty.

I feel so incredibly bad for Gannon losing his life after having to fight to live to begin with. That's what makes me SICK, wondering what else did she do?!?! Idc what anyone says there are always signs of an abusive person and if you have open communication, trust, and honesty with your child or any child you're close to, they'll feel safe to come to you even if they're threatened or have had fear drilled into them not to tell. My daughter told me and her dad, because she knew she could. To this day I always tell her, if anyone tells you to keep a secret the ONLY reason is bc they're doing something wrong. And if anyone tells you that if you tell me something, they'll hurt me or they'll hurt you, or something bad will happen do not believe them, you can absolutely tell me... And in these situations like with Gannon, see he was stuck with her. That's why he would've likely been too afraid to tell- the consequences that he would feel of that later. If your child KNOWS they come first, before your partner (as they should, but not sadly not all parents live this way!) then they'll know it's okay to tell you. If they know in their heart that your mom's boyfriend/ dad's wife etc comes first, they'll never tell you anything!!! Ugh it makes me so angry. 😡 I love the Lord with all my heart. But I can't help it, these situations make me want to do something terrible to these people who hurt children. It lights a fire in me like nothing else. I just don't understand how someone is this EVIL.
Also, what infuriated me as well was listening to the recording about the candle. You can tell she'd already done something terrible by the way she was acting and was trying to think of how to cover her tracks. Sitting there saying "you sure you didn't do it on purpose" who cares if he did, that was irrelevant after the fact! And then he said I'm just worried about my burns THE CHILD IS IN PAIN WITH UNTREATED BURNS AND YOU DONT EVEN CARE!!! You know how bad a burn hurts. Imagine being a child and having no one to comfort you, and bandage you up, and bring your food to the couch while you rest. 💔 Kids deserve that. They deserve to know that they are loved, and cared for, and important. And if KILLS me not knowing what in the world this little boy could have felt about how he was treated. SICK!!! And all that for what, to spend your life behind bars? All you have to say is this isn't for me. I don't want to do it. Whether it's a spouses child, or your own! Trust me there is someone out there who WILL love that child so its much, much better for you and for them if you let them go instead of taking your bitterness/ anger/ resentment - whatever it may be - out in them.

Yeah, she behaves so much like Lori Vallow Daybell did in her police interviews: carefree, vibrant, jolly, and completely without remorse, not a trace of guilt. But I believe this audio was recorded on the day she reported Gannon missing, so January 27th. She hadn't dumped him at the first site, yet. He was probably in the trunk of her car at this time.

I have a relative who murdered someone whilst in a full blown psychotic episode.. He suffers from schizophrenia... Immediately after the event, and for weeks after, he was not coherent... This woman is far from insane! She's covering her bases, she's knowingly deceiving the officers, she's without emotion and commited to getting away with what she's done. Not a speck of insanity there.

Omg! When my step-daughter was a teenager in 11th grade and "ran away" from home, something her father had dealt with from her for years, I was sick from worry all night and didn't sleep. Even when she was returned home the next morning, less than 24 hours later, I was still sick to my stomach and couldn't stop crying. The officer thought I was her biological mother because i was so distraught. There's no way an actual caring person, especially a woman, could carry on so calmly for such a young baby going missing. 😢

In this crazy world if your child is missing even for a while you would be panicking. You don’t joke and give detail step by step from the night before without being asked. My son wanted to shovel driveways after a snow storm when he was 13. He left and I drove around an hour later when he didn’t come home. I was yelling his name through the neighborhood. I called the police. All I could say when the cop came is … we have to look for him. He’s no where. Come to find out an older lady asked him to come in and gave him cocoa. I cried and cried once we found him two hours later. The cop was calm. I couldn’t even think straight!

Harley didn't come home she received a text asking for her to grab cleaning supplies. She said all the guns were at home & in a later interview 1 of the guns was actually missing. Any wonder the police took a good look at this nutcase.

I am feeling more and more this was premeditated. She knew she was going to kill him that day. Starting with the extravagant lies to stay home. From her school job. Did she do it since she thought Gannon was a nuisance and figured it would be easier to raise Lana and have Al back at her feet. Or just to kill to see if she could get away with it. But she is not insane she didn't have a psychotic break. If she can calmly (or as calmly as she is) speak to cops spinning more tales and lies.

I believe she was tormenting and torturing this poor boy for a while...in her phone call with her husband she said Something like "the fire burnt him more than it was supposed to... I didn't know it was as bad as it was".... Which makes me think That he spilled wax on the carpet and as punishment she took the candle and burned his arms....or lit his blankets on fire while he was asleep...then she saw how bad his burns were and decided she needed to have " evidence" that he started the fire so that's why she recorded the conversation asking Gannon if he "did it on purpose" so she could later frame him for starting the fire.. She was Trying to have recorded evidence that the little boy burnt himself In case he went and told anybody that she had burned him . she was scared That someone would ask him and the truth might come out so she decided to kill him. I saw that her previous husband died of an overdose...she probably killed him too.... As a matter of fact I think she tried to overdose her son to kill him after she burned him so badly And it didn't work and that's why she ended up stabbing him and then Shooting him

I asked a question in a livestream if anyone thought Harley may have known what was going on. Someone made a good point that she would be taken in if they suspected she was involved. It just seems weird that her daughter was there the entire time and didn’t suspect anything was off with her mother’s behavior. The ride to Florida and the suitcase she knew nothing?

I took both my Son's to the fair and while paying for candy apples within minutes one walked away. I'm running around looking yelling his name and then i seen a security guard and informed my son was missing he Radioed it in and the police said my Son walked up to him at the entrance and said I can't find my mom. I'm crying hysterical and scared to death but happy my son went to the police for help.
I bet one of the first big red flags is I'm not sure which door he went out, oh yeah that's how we know he went out because we saw him on the ring door camera

And her trying to convince them someone had a picture of Gannon and her confirming it was him. And it wasn't. She was doing everything she could to convince him he just ran away for a bit. Which is why she was so calm and cool so no one would panic. And start looking where they shouldn't.

Absolutely. I don't know if you heard, but the tox report says Gannon had opiates in his system. I beleive she was drugging him all along- she told the police he was on several meds, and she told Al she was regularly feeding him laxatives. That's a lot of medication for a small boy. She is a monster.
Dupers delight can be heard in her voice. She sounds cheerful and she smiles and even laughs with the officer....after she killed her step son. Oh me oh my!😮

What I don't understand is why the officer didn't see the blood. He did search the place. Was he still alive then and was killed later?
By the time the cops had come she had cleaned it up. So much so a basic look you wouldn't see it. They thought he was a runaway from step monster pushing that story. They did not do a proper search of the home.
