Nanak wrote Bani to remove influenced of corrupt pandit/brahmin who didn't allow ordinary man access to Sanskrit scriptures at those time (Ramayan, Gita or other shasters etc.) by stating that those are God's books and God's language, therefore, beyond ordinary man's reach.
